Shallan's not the type to start a fight with somebody, and I also don't see her going off the deep end so easily, she seems to be learning some important lessons and I think Jasnah will be a good influence on her. And I note that Odium's Champion doesn't need to be intentionally/willingly evil, Marsh ended up as Ruin's champion against his will because of the spikes, so Odium's champion doesn't have to be a Darth Vaderesque fallen hero turned card carrying villain. And as far as romances I ship Shallan/Kaladin or Shallan/Renarin.

I'm also disappointed, but I trust Brandon and I know he wouldn't do this if he didn't feel it was necessary to make the book the best it can possibly be, I fully expect it to be totally worth the wait.

well, tapping weight also prevents you from being crushed under the extra weight, so presumably tapping size would have similar effects.

she's not sure about her theory, in scientific terms it's a hypothesis rather then a theory, she wants to gather more evidence, first hand if possible before spreading her idea. It's a big deal and she doesn't want to mess it up.
