I don't think they connect but it would make things so much simpler.

New question, I know we've always assumed that it is but is the Shard Odium held by Rayse? I don't think it says any where in WoK that he does, I know it says he holds the most dangerous of all the shards but I think that if Bavadin is a shard holder it is more likely that he is Odium, it just seems to unlikely that he would reveal the biggest danger to the world so early in the series.

Concerning Cett's daughter's linage, actually I guess it's five generations to pass along allomancy, Page 293 of the Final Empire says "Skaa never become mistings unless they have aristocratic blood somewhere in their last five generations"

I have been trying to figure it out but I need to get some more info on how the dates work OH DUH! If the years are 500 days then it would be the First day of the week Palah of the month Shash 1173, now what was going on right then?
-
Remember the first chapter blurb thingy mentioned "it is but a thousand days and the Everstorm comes" well when would those thousand days be up, the blurb was from 1171 and the books is during 1173 and the years are 500 days, so those thousand days ended somewhere in the middle of the book. I wonder if anything happened on the 1000th day that we would be able to pick out

when it comes to getting through books 8-10 there are only two words I have for you, Audio Books. I dont usually listen to a book before I read it but I consider WoT an exception, I only started it cause Sanderson was gonna be finishing it so I just listened to them as fast as I could and then went and read Gathering Storm and Towers of Midnight.

If you mean against Quick Ben then I see no problem with that. However if you are suggesting we vote for Perrin when he's against Vin I am ashamed of you.

Mainly the ones that serve little purpose, It has a no roleplaying rule (which i don't really mind cause I don't RP but I don't understand why it's not aloud) names have to be like the ones on Scadrial (i think this has changed to any cosmere planet now), avatars have to be a picture of a human that represents your gender and can they can never be changed, I think the same rule applies to pictures in siggys but I'm not sure. the one thing that I hated the most about them was also the thing that I thought was a really cool idea; after a certain amount of time and a certain amount of posts you could apply to "rank up" (I don't know what it's really called) to do this you would have to be approved by an admin (I had no problem with this) but there was an age restriction, to get to the highest rank you had to be 18 and be a membe for 6 months at least and pass an exam about the cosmere, I had no intention of sitting around for 3 years as a second class member. Soon I saw threads written on a bunch of WoT sites and the mistborn facebook page, I told everyone to boycott the site and that ended up with my bannishment. Needless to say the 17th shard is 1000x better then they could ever dream of being. oh and they call the cosmere the "mythos" what really bugged me

I don't know about WoT but are any of you signed up at stormblessed.com or adonalsium.net? if so lets get over there and try and rally up some votes. I signed up for stormblessed before I found this place so I'll see if I can remember my username/password for it. Someone else will have to get them informed at Adonalsium.net though, me and their founder don't see eye to eye on some rules they have and I may or may not have posted a rant about them several places on the internet that ended up getting me banned.

I was thinking that they would have a tilt but that the continent would be moving along so that every 8weeks (or however long their seasons are) it would be in an other hemisphere where they would be experiencing a different season then the one they started in. I really don't have much to back up this idea but I just kind of thought about it when I noticed Roshar is shaped like a hurricane cloud. I still need to iron out some kinks to see if it could work.
-
do you think that it would be possible for an elantrian to use the teleportation aon to jump to another planet. it would have to be extremely diffucult, they would have to calculate where the planet is exactly rather than where it appears to be due to the speed of light and the distance would have to be measured in units small enough to be changeable for elevation on the planets surface, oh and you probably never could get back to Sel. But could you do it?
-
I had an idea, maybe really it is the continent that is moving. Somewhere on the planet there is a gingantic storm(s) that Roshar (the continent) passes through, when it gets to the eye of the storm it ends until it enters again. this could explain why they can be calculated mathmatically and why the seasons are so short.

I would give Sazed some cookies laced with Prozac, he really needs it during HoA.

I just finished Pathfinder by Orson Scott Card, when I read the first chapter set it in a time period similar to mountain men time, chapter two starts on a spaceship though so I was kind of confused. Just for the sake of clarity, if you read it the time period is more like the Renaissance. The fact that there's a space ship makes more sense later on.

for me its Kelsier, Kell-zee-uhr Demoux, Duh-moo lestibornes, less-duh-born-ez Dalinar Kholin, Dall-in-are Co-lin (Co as in Coworker) Jasnah Kholin, Jazz-nuh Co-lin Jezrien, Jez-air-ee-an Kalak, Kal-Ack Talenel'Elin, Tail-nehl el-in Just a note, I have the audiobook of TWoK and they read the names with "j" making a "y" sound, so Jasnah is pronounced Yahs-nuh and Jezrien is Yez-ree-in. I kind of like it but the pronuciation I gave them is stuck in my head

Don't they realize that these are the ideas that will end up saving them money in the long run? I mean you have to already have the song to store it there, all this is doing is enabling you to listen to your music wherever you go. when are they going to realize that by being so rigid on digital rights they are only hurting the consumer? I mean if I bought a song and found out that I am only able to listen to it one my computer, or only put it onto a certain brand of mp3 players I am going to be much more willing to resort to less than legal methods to get that music. the copyright protection methods that they use to protect their IP only hurt the honest people.

in the mean time Hoid's wife gets home and sees the shattered vase.

fell over dead.

Now if this gets between her and Perin I think obviously Vin would kick his butt so bad his grand kids would still be hurting, but I dont think there is any way she could get the votes.

but through a ripple in space-time the boat crashes on Nalthis and Shallan has to pretend to be a man so she won't be made into a lifeless by a cult of llama assassins that make lifeless only out of women

The Most Important Question You Will Ever Read
SOM1else replied to SOM1else's topic in Cosmere Discussion
it would depend on how much health you had stored in your goldminds though, spend a year sick in bead filling them up and you would have enough to do it, obviously a giant spike is almost guaranteed to be lethal but a smaller on might work.
