    Also, my theories aren't really meant for practical use this early in the series, but I think that understanding what stormlight is will help down the road, especially with larkins. Looking at the books, I really don't see how Stormlight could actually be light. Here's why. Multiple times (Szeth in the prologue: "wisps of it curling from his skin like luminescent smoke"), we've seen Stormlight take on a shape. A. Shape. If it were merely light, this would be impossible. Light is light. To see it, it has to travel into your eye (quite literally), and it moves far too fast to take on ANY sort of shape. This, along with the constant comparisons to storms, wind, and smoke, is why I think that Stormlight is a light emitting gas. Edit: Oh wow, theories are theoretical.     STORM IT!!!! Dang, I hope he's just trolling, or bending the truth. Darn. But I wouldn't be surprised if an unmade COULD be put in a sphere. We already saw Venli capture a stormspren in one. And I think that Kal saw two of the unmade moving towards stormseat in the highstorm. The timing lines up perfectly with the parshendi's adoption of stormform, and Eshonai said that she doing so would attract the attention of the unmade, hence why they are heading there.

    @WEZ313 My theory (not mine, but forget whose it is) about Yelig-Nar is that he was in the black sphere that Gavilar gave Szeth, and has been harassing Szeth since that night. If so, he's definitely active. Trapped, but active.

    I think that this is related to Dalinar's Purelake vision with the giant obsidian castle. We have the death rattle where the darkness builds a palace, what if that's an actual palace? The plague could be related to it.

    Much Obliged! When I read that rattle, I more think of how the water surges down the chasms during a highstorm, so I think it's referring to an event on the shattered planes. Or possibly the purelake. Not sure. And I think you may be reading too much into the "child" part.

    I wonder if chickens in Shinovar are bloodthirsty killing machines like the chickens in Legend of Zelda. If so, we have our solution to the voidbringers.

    Of course TARAVANGIAN would be thinking of this, he's just trying to have his two largest problems get rid of each other! I'm onto you, sir. I will prevent your evil plan and stop the diagram from killing Roshar! Not sure how, but I will. I've got a couple of years until the next book comes out, so I'll have plenty of time to figure it out.

    I think that stormlight leakage is separate from stormlight illumination. Stormlight's shiny, whether it's leaving you or not, so a more efficient radiant with higher stormlight capacity would actually get brighter. I'm referring to gemstones being unable to hold stormlight indefinitely, which causes them to lose their brightness. This loss of brightness should be constant, but due to mathematics, it will APPEAR that the gemstones are actually starting to lose stormlight more quickly. Let's say that 1 milliliter of stormlight puts off 10 lumens. If I start with 10 milliliters of stormlight and have it leak at a rate of 1 millileter per minute, the light output will go from 100 to 90 to 80 all the way down to zero. The percentage of light loss is increasing, but the amount of stormlight leakage does not change. As to what Moogle said about honorblades. There's a WoB that implies that radiants have gemhearts. Szeth mentions that the human body is really bad at holding stormlight, while a radiant's gemheart would hold it MUCH more efficiently, and almost certainly just hold more. That could be why Honorblade wielders don't get as bright, they just can't hold as much stormlight as a radiant. Squires are probably in the same position. Sorry if I rambled there.
