    Serious speculation here: There are no Odiumspren. Thunderclasts, Midnight Essences, and other Odious monsters are all (at least composed of) radiantspren corrupted by the unmade (which one was it, again? I forget the name).

    It's pretty tough to say right now. We haven't seen any other radiants get their limbs severed, or if Hobber will recover. And if Kaladin is special, I'd say that it's him AND Syl. Child of Tanavest, and all that.

    He said that Urithiru has unhallowed stones like Shinovar, so the shin probably know about it. Come to think of it, ONLY Shinovar and Urithiru have unhallowed stones.

    I'm going to guess that the Baal-inspired unmade is causing the Purelake plague. That would certainly fit pretty well.

    I more meant it as on-off rather than live-dead. Like a live wire vs a wire with no current going through it. But I forgot about the radiants in Dalinar's visions, so the three types are probably Honorblade-sprenblade-shardblade. If the WoB is implying that sprenblades and shardblades are the "same", then it's Honorblade-sprenblade-awakened blade.

    Maybe the three types in TWoK are: An Honorblade when held by a herald. So maybe a live honorblade. An Honorblade when held by a normal human. A normal shardblade - dead spren. Did Shallan summon Pattern in TWoK? I forget. That would make the 3 types Shardblade - Honorblade - Sprenblade. And I don't think that Hoid's sword is awakened. He doesn't have the breaths or knowledge to know how to do it (only Shashara did).

    In WoR, it mentions how his long hair made it difficult to see the tattoo, so I doubt growing it will be a huge issue. More along the lines of getting it to stay obstructive. Headband, maybe?

    He'll just summon his Shardspear, shardshield, or whatever other form he wants Syl to take. If that doesn't work, he'll glow and float around. Also, his eyes will change color, and I don't think that Lighteyes can be enslaved (making the mark meaningless).

    He flew there. There's a village at the base of the mountain that leaves him infused spheres for that specific purpose (and getting back down).
