  1. Unhallowed does not mean cursed, but rather they were never blessed. I actually think this has something to do with Cultivation.
  2. Ok, thanks Luckat. I guess I should take my vote off Alvron then. Not sure on who to vote for now as I've been informed of Feligon's apparent innocence. I'll go for Leif. Luckat's comment about posting numbers made me realise that I haven't seen much of Leif. Little more than enough to remain active.
  3. Is it three turns or cycles? You only have 2 days there. If it is cycles then it could still be him.
  4. Check the previous votes for the numbers to back this up, but there have been at least 2 OC lynches where I've had the first vote in. Not necessarily the first vote they had ever, but certainly on the days they died. Due to information from recent events, I'd like to change my vote from Feligon to Alvron.
  5. It looks blue and brown to me.
  6. Feligon. For reasons of much PM-ness. I'm not sure how much info from PMs I can share here, or if I just can't quote them. Either way, ask Meta or Snoopy. I've shared my reasons with them in PMs.
  7. I wasn't sure, but I suspected Araris was of the Dark Side. Learning I was right has given me a good idea of who to vote for next.
  8. Winter is 4 in the list and Snoopy is 5. Or do you mean they are not Odium? If so, I only added the people Snoopy mentioned in his post. That's also why I didn't give my name as not Odium. Even though I'm not.
  9. Skaa, we already see an Atium alloy in the Mistborn trilogy - Malatium. He is Ironeyes in Alloy of Law. If you've not read Alloy of Law, sorry for the spoiler, although it doesn't really spoil much. From Coppermind:
  10. Hi, welcome to the boards. There is a search function around here someplace. I suggest you try that.
  11. It is about the right time for the Pits of Hathsin to start spawning Atium again, but will it? The Pits were a way of safely siphoning off Ruin's power and hiding his physical form. Now Sazed has his power, and Sazed is Ruin's physical form. Sure, he has to siphon off a small amount of Ruin's power to keep himself in balance, but I think this is what Marsh has been running on.
  12. Favourite hero is quite possibly The Pro by Garth Ennis, simply because she isn't like any other superhero out there. Favourite villain is probably Heath Ledger's Joker, but that is more due to his acting than the villain himself.
  13. Living Players: Second of Sky (Alvron) Jain (Lightsworn Panda) Bortin (Bort) Cleo and Kae(Winter Cloud) Gerald Hobbes (Snoopy) Frank (Feligon) - Not Odium Captain Qayshar Junglewood (swalji09 - Now known as Splinter) Leif Erikson (Leiftinspace) Animus (Tulir) KaanDra (Ashiok) - Not Odium Scree (Sarcomere) - Not Odium Cognition (Metacognition) - Not Odium Baron Von Piff (Pifferdoo) Lu (Luckat) The Dead: Satrams - A Normal Worldhopper mistaken for Hoid Clink - A Village Poisoner whose wares were too costly. Mek - A Normal Worldhopper who lost a swordfight. Aonar Izenry - Ruin's original Shardholder Maw - Odium's original Holder. Grarmps - Holder of the Unmade Lady Otrisce - Awakener Derushe - Worldhopper Martin - A Witness Vineyerian - A Poisoner Dorin - A Champion Eolhondras - Dominion JasonPenguin - Lifeless operator Araris - Voidbringer (alignment as yet unknown). Twelthrootoftwo - Preservation Voila. One up-to-date list (I think). Mostly because he has been so quiet throughout the game, my vote this cycle is for Tulir. Edit: I was tempted to add my name to the list of players confirmed as not being Odium, but thought better of it. That is probably a sure fire way to get myself lynched Edit 2: Is there a maximum of one of each minor role per side, or can each side have multiple of each? Edit 3: What happens when Odium's Shard is passed on? As in, say it went to a Witness. Would they retain the Witness abilities, or would they be overwritten by the Shardic abilities?
  14. Winter Cloud, on 24 Feb 2015 - 11:23 PM, said: Shard identities and plans should remain secret, although speaking for the rest of us plebs, it would be nice to get some direction once in a while. As it is, we're flailing about and having more success in lynching our own than the enemy, and given how quiet these threads are, we don't have much to go on when selecting a target. The amount of information the Shards have is, I expect, a hell of a lot more than the information we get as non-Shards. There are 14 players left. 5 of those are friendly Shards, one is Odium, one is Hoid, leaving 7 possibilities (myself included) who may or may not be Odium's Champions. So, who has suspicions they would like to share?
  15. So, we know that Sazed is the Shardholder for both Ruin and Preservation, and he took the name Harmony. We also know that, due to the pact between Leras and Ati, and Leras' breach of said pact, that the Ruin Shard is slightly more powerful than Preservation. So, what does Sazed do with the extra Ruin power to keep himself in balance? Originally, I thought that he would invest it back into the world as Atium, or perhaps invest it directly into Marsh, as he is, more or less, a servant of Ruin, but last night, when I was reading Well of Ascension, I spotted something interesting. In the Terris prophecies about the Hero of Ages (as mentioned by Kwaan in the epigraphs), is this line: What if this was not referring to the chaos caused by wars, ashfalls, and so on, that we see in Hero of Ages, but a more literal definition. Whenever Sazed 'touches the world' so to speak, what if he leaks a bit of the extra portion of Ruin into the planet. I'll admit, I haven't really thought this through too much, it was just an interesting concept I got from reading the epigraph (WoA, Chapter 28, if you want to read it for yourself). Another thought is that Sazed really has been siphoning off some of Ruin's power as Atium, and that Atium is the 'forgotten metal' that I seem to recall hearing speculation that the last book in the Wax and Wayne era trilogy will be named after.
  16. I don't think we'll be hearing the specifics about Kaladin's past (or, at least, the parts of Kaladin's past that have only just been touched on), and I don't mind that. I think we have the information we need about Kaladin already. I share Bunyip99's belief that Shallan's mother was connected to the Skybreakers, hunting possible Radiants before they become Radiant to prevent the Desolation. I always put Jasnah's guilt over Gavilar's death down to it being the only time they really connected. They talked about the Parshendi, and Jasnah encouraged him which led him down the path where he ended up dead at Szeth's hand. I never really considered that she may have been doing research for him and uncovered something dangerous. This does make sense though, since soon after his death, she delved into the secrets of the Voidbringers. As for Szeth's story and the black sphere, I have a feeling we'll be finding out about those.
  17. Please, Brandon, please make Nightblood speak the Dustbringer oaths.
