  1. "Koloss, you say?" Luma nodded. "Lots of them," the Beardspren confirmed. "And they're heading this way." Bortholemew the Blind frowned, the action making his eyebrows point of in a random direction. "This is typical. When we're so close, too. I suppose I should help the villagers out then, since we're never going to find a way into that cave with an army of koloss rampaging through the area. What world are we on again?" "Scadrial," the spren patiently replied. "Hence, koloss." "Right, right," Bortholemew said absently as he thought. "Scadrial... That means mistings. Pick one we can fake well, Luma." "Ok," Luma said. "Then we should pretend to be a ..." Find out on next week's exciting episode, same bat time, same bat channel... That's right folks, Bortholemew the Blind is back, in his hunt for the fabled Shardmarks. This year's AG seems like a good time to bring him back out to play This means it's almost a year since my first Sanderson Elimination game, since I joined my first just as last year's AG was ending.
  2. Ok, removing my vote from Starry (I'll go back and edit the colour in my previous post in just a minute - by the time you read this, it will probably be done). Instead, I'm placing a vote on Orlok. I've seen him visit the thread a few times, but he doesn't seem to be posting. Also, the same applies to Twelfthrootoftwo, but honestly, I'm not sure if he is playing or not. Wilson, in your player list, you have someone listed as 'Twei'. Is this Twelfthrootoftwo? Edit: Removed vote from Orlok.
  3. I'm not going to add my vote to the list as I think he probably already has enough votes, but I do have to say I've been most unimpressed with Hellscythe's responses. Rather than defend himself, he has ranted, tried to point the finger at others, and came up with what sounds like fictional scenarios to shift suspicion onto others. What did you do in cycle one to attract the attention of a cook, Hellscythe? You insulted his meringue, didn't you? Edit: By the way, after today, I am off work until after the new year. Unfortunately, my internet at home is still not working, so until it is, I'll be limited to short and fast posts from my mobile. So, I only have three more hours at a proper keyboard, so if anyone wishes to ask me anything, please do so now
  4. Going back and rereading the previous thread (and earlier posts in this thread about why people are suspicious of me), Sart, I didn't vote on Maill because if he had died, it would have been the third game in a row where he was the first casualty, and that just would not be fair. I didn't vote for Ada because I was waiting to see what else he would say, then didn't have a chance to get back on before I finished work on Monday, and my internet at home has been off, so I've not been able to get on until today. That is why no votes last cycle. Starry, my reasons for that post were pretty well explained, and it was clarified by both Wilson and Kasimir that it was different this time around. Perhaps a post telling you all to ignore the post you latched on to as irrelevant? Would that have helped, or would it have just made people think I was attempting to be duplicitous by saying one thing, then half an hour later saying the exact opposite? Given how this game works, I'd have gone for the latter. So, Starry Smite, for now. If I see a reason to, I'll change it before the end of the cycle (or, at least, I will plan to. Hopefully I'll be able to get online to do so).
  5. No... Must... Close.... Addictiveness...
  6. That was an awesome cameo I thought.
  7. Wow, I express a single concern about people being too focused on the eliminators over the factions (before Wilson and Kas clarified the differences between this and MR7), and I get two votes for it. Thanks guys, love you too Also, I'd just like to apologise for a slow post rate. My home network died last weekend, so the only place I can currently check the thread is at work, when I'm supposed to be working. That doesn't make for much time to dedicate to rooting out Diagrammists.
  8. We should be careful when looking at this game as an elimination game within a faction game. The last time we looked at a game like that, we nearly caused Kas some serious brain damage. It is for this reason that I will NOT be suggesting a Ghostblood/Sons of Honour alliance to target Diagrammists. That's when things get a little screwy. For clarification... If, for example, I am a Commander, do I get the names of the Captains under my command, and their minions, or do I just get the names of the Captains? I believe from earlier clarifications on this that I would get both, but am still unsure.
  9. Wow, congratulations Kobold. Radio Times is probably the biggest TV magazine in the UK.
  10. So, that's where they are leaving them for Christmas? Good episodes, but I preferred the Flash. As for Arrow...
  11. Well played Cultists. Assuming four of you, this is the final round as there are only six people left, and none of you have been caught. Now you have enough to control the lynch and take your sacrifice. Hey, perhaps you liked my sule music earlier in the storm? Take me with you instead of killing me. I can entertain the cult with renditions of Kolo Kayana.
  12. I was asked in a PM to add my suspicions in the main thread, as opposed to giving them in the PM, which I probably would have done instead. So, in no particular order... Creccio. I don't know what it is about his posts, but something doesn't seem right about them. His first post asks the obvious, then tries to say let's not kill each other, let's hug instead. His second claims to have eaten all the stew (it may be worth lynching his just for this). His third is interesting. "I'm voting for Orlok, but I don't think we should kill anyone. Also, I think we have 4 Cultists, but we shouldn't talk about how many there are." Contradicting himself twice in the same post. Not bad. His next few posts are just questioning Jain and Meta about who they think should be lynched. He finally puts forward a suspicion towards the end of cycle one, who turns out to be innocent. He even goes so far as to say he would claim in the thread (even though it was this kind of behavior that got him lynched in LG15), has nothing to hide, and is an innocent (neither of which come across as particularly convincing because what else would you expect a Cultist to say?). Final posts of note during cycle one were about Hellscythe's posts about lynches and losing probability. It was some very rough maths by the looks of it, and I can't tell if Creccio's reply was genuine or sarcastic. Cycle two, an interesting point. Creccio thanks the Soldier for protecting him the previous cycle, claiming to have been saved, yet Meta was the only one mentioned in the write up. Later claims to have been confused, even though he voted for no deaths, so it probably should have been obvious to him what happened. Later, Creccio puts forward Alvron and Panda as two people he would like to see scanned. Both are names already given in the thread, and neither have a huge amount of suspicion. The reason for suspecting Alvron is because Alv voted for peace. The reason for suspecting Jain was because of faulty maths, which I was fairly sure came from Hellscythe. STINK. IRuleLikeSTINK has barely posted so far this game, quite unlike his regular play style (from what I've seen at least), and the posts he has made haven't really contributed anything, so there is very little to go on. Lopen. Since going back and rereading the thread, I am less suspicious of Lopen. It turns out he has posted more than I originally thought. But, I feel I should mention his name here because I mentioned him in the PM I spoke of at the start of this post. Jain. Not really too suspicious of Jain, but I do think I should mention his last post before this one. "If I wanted to hide, I wouldn't be passive and defensive. Too conspicuous." I am automatically suspicious of anyone who says 'I wouldn't play like that if I were a bad guy.' So, until further notice, my vote this cycle will be for STINK. And I will remember to get my vote sent in via PM, before 10.30pm, so I can actually have a vote count this game. Day one I forgot to PM, and yesterday, I submitted a vote two minutes too late Edit: Welcome to the Hotel Ookla, guests. You can stable your own gyorns, and provide your own food. Creccio ate all of our stew.
  13. Ookla the Jive Turkey, thank you for explaining what the whole Ookla thing is about. I'm no longer confused, but I'm keeping the name.
  14. Save us Ookla Wan Kenookla. You're our only hope! On an unrelated note, what on Earth is the whole Ookla thing about? If the Cultists do have a Soldier, then I also think that they would attack one of their own and use the Soldier to save them, as a means of soft confirming their innocence. Is anyone in contact with a Priest? We need to get some scanning going and a way to communicate the results back to the group. If we don't already have a scanner going like this, scan me (for your own peace of mind), then you can feed the results to me, and I will get them into the thread. Edit: Also, with three Rolo traders (Rulo?), I'm going to take a wild guess that at least one of them is a Cultist. Edit 2: Never mind about the Ookla thing. I found out. It is explained here.
  15. I meant the other way around. We might get a mention of the Sokovia Accords in AoS, but I think that will be about as far as it will go. Also, isn't it General Ross?
