1. This one is tough for two reasons. One, I don't necessarily get ultra attached to characters, and two, non-cosmere is definitely less my jam. But let's say Kimmalyn! 2. Skyward, Skyward Flight Novellas (did you want me to rate these separately? these seem very connected), Starsight, Cytonic. Those last two are real tough for me. I could probably flip a coin on those two. Maybe Cytonic then Starsight because I at least enjoyed Cytonic like almost all the way through, even though I didn't love it. Sure! It's okay to be wrong (Though I like Chana at this point.) Things will be winding down a bit in Shardcast land, which is nice. Not quite as busy anymore.

Sure, but we just don't believe that. I don't think anyone on Shardcast thinks that is plausible, so there's no one to genuinely argue for that point. (Sorry to those who believe it isn't the Stormfather!)

Feruchemical and Allomantic Table Alignment

Well, it's just that on Feruchemy/Hemalurgy we are going off of how it looks on the boxes on those charts in the order the metals are described. If it is changed, that could be a separate, different confusion. So I don't know if there is a way to do this to make everyone happy in all circumstances. That's not to say it could not be changed, but others might dislike that change, is what I'm saying. -

Well, so, the reason for the difference is to indicate Pushing/Pulling and Internal/External, which is not a distinction Feruchemy makes. So the Allomancy table is trying to replicate the positioning of the symbols on https://coppermind.net/wiki/File:Table_of_Allomantic_Metals.jpeg You will notice that the symbols on the wheel are what the Allomancy chart is doing, whereas the boxes to the side go in the iron/steel/tin/pewter order. But the chart on the Coppermind is trying to communicate the Pull/Push and Internal/External symmetry there. -

Correct, we announced this on Twitter and YouTube and things, but yes, the SA5 prologue is delayed to this weekend due to editing taking a bit longer. Please note that weekly Shardcasts is not the norm and we will be resuming biweekly episodes later this month. The secret projects were a very unusual situation that forced to do a lot more than usual. We will during release do some weekly shows, but it is extremely time consuming to do long shows every week, and we don't want to die or grow to hate doing this. And hopefully we will get back to posting things Saturday, rather than Sunday. I've just had to push it a bit further back on the weekend as things have gotten more and more crazy...

Faceless Immortals are indeed the kandra. However in Bands there is a separate... Thing that are the "Set's Faceless Immortals" which have the glowy red eyes and stuff, which the kandra don't have. That may be the distinction you're thinking of.

Meeting all sorts of great people and having an awesome community. The staff is really cool and it's been quite the thing to see how things evolve over time. On the meeting people front, I got married through here so that's cool. Maybe this isn't specifically head admin-y though, so if you want something more in line with that I can cook something else up for you. The amount of time it takes to be here, but also... Moderating people who have no conception of how to be polite and not rude. The vast majority of people are awesome, and I think even the people who are abrasive but don't quite realize they are, they do want to try. But it is very challenging to describe why someone is being super rude when they seem to have no frame of reference to being nice at all. It's strange. So yeah, that's challenging and takes up a lot of time.

I admit part of this is that I just think it looks so ugly to have the UI go onto two lines, but obviously that's going to depend on how wide your phones are... I could add the emote button back if people want.

Do you want the emoticon button back? I wasn't sure how many people used it; I figured you'd put the symbol and it would auto-change to the smiley or something. Again this can be done but there is always tradeoffs.

We had a thread like option 1 before. It went fine, but definitely required mod eyes on it. Regardless, we will keep a very close eye on things and if anyone is disrespectful, they will be dealt with.

I'm double posting for an update (sue me!). I've made some adjustments! The medium toolbar had some very strange things, like page break and remove formatting, which did not seem as useful, so I removed those in favor of alignment and font color. The smallest viewport now has font color as well. I have made the Preview button consistently at the end of the toolbar so it will be the same in all three toolbars.

The thing is, more items means it goes to two lines on many phones, and most people are going to use it in portrait. So yes, we CAN put more options there, but there are costs associated. I would say color yes, size definitely no.
