SpanReads: The Final Empire - Recap & Reactions

Nice first episode! Only thing might need tweaking was the synopsis length. I liked it and the jokes were great, but it might need to be broken down into more chunks in some way? It was a tad long and I think I needed some breaks. Maybe half the book discuss, then second half discuss? It was hard for me to pay attention to the synopsis for so long and something to break up the book might help (especially when you get to longer books)

I condensed them as much as I could while still covering the plot. xD

But yeah, length is an issue, and while we've already recorded all of Mistborn Era 1, Era 2, and SH, we do have some ideas to put into play for when we get into Stormlight. (We'll start putting chapters into future episodes so people can skip if they want.)

Stormlight way too long for recaps. Must sum up.

Chapters are in now! I'll be sure to put them in on the next recap episode.

This is awesome. I wish the SpanReads episodes were its own feed.

Just want to make it clear I think you did a good job! I just thought I would add my two sense about maybe adding is a discussion break in the middle of the plot synopsis. I actually really liked and appreciated  the thorough recap, I just lost stamina haha

It's a good idea in theory, but difficult to put into practice due to several factors. Still, we're putting in chapter skips, so that'll make it easier for watchers to bounce around as they like.
