There are a lot of things we can do in this new version, and achievements are one such thing. This is just where the new site placed reputation, I guess. We don't have specific plans for any specific achievements, but it's definitely a thing we can do in the future.

We know why this is happening; there are some background things where Upvotes were changed to Likes, which had some effects. We agree you should be able to see this, we just have to change some things. On the plus side, this will let us have multiple reactions in the future. This is the feedback thread, in my opinion, don't take the name too seriously. There are a lot of settings we can do, but do note we will be very cautious at altering the actual site functionality to make site updates easy in the future. The previous one was too customized, which lead to issues.

His browser or something is auto creating it.; that is NOT an official dark mode. That's why he is having some issues, because it's auto generated and not specifically designed for dark mode. @Duxredux our official dark mode will have better contrast for that there.

Dark mode is a later feature addition that we are working on. I believe it was under "future things" we will be doing. This is actually how it will work now due to some background stuff.

I can't currently replicate this on the Stormlight board. Does it still happen for you? Regardless, it likely is irrelevant given the new site update, which will change a lot of things.

You can post a status update on the bot's page and report that. I would only do this if its made zero posts, though. -
I know a lot of people use font colors for this. On mobile, less options is probably better than more, sadly. Also, with dark mode coming, people will need to be aware font colors could be completely unreadable in one or both of the modes. I know it is common to use them in the RP section, but keep this in mind. Also note, it's not our choice if Invision removes the functionality! Yes.

Correct; these were never designed for the joke content people are using them for, so that's up to you!

Currently, BBCode can still work, but Invision does say: "BBCode support is deprecated and may be removed in a future release". We can enable it if people want for now, but this likely won't be permanent. Yes, many of the old things are totally irrelevant in 2023.

Member titles still exist and will be in the same spot. It's honestly kind of funny for the screenshot Paleo chose that he chose a forum post where neither he nor the reply accounts had member titles. No change there. Correct! No, not because I don't want to, but because there are tons of updates in the several versions we have missed under the hood that could have a lot of effects. I mean, you can go to Invision Power's site and look at the changelog. I understand the desire. I just don't know if it's possible to do what you are asking here. There are probably hundreds or thousands of minor things and design changes. We are trying to keep things similar. Honestly, there may be things we miss that you will notice that we might not, and there are also going to be tons of settings we could adjust as well. We will likely be tweaking some things as we move along. It's an evolving sort of thing. As for the nebulous "rep thing" I alluded to before, I'm mistaken. An intermediate version we were working on a while ago had something different going on, and is not the case now, so rep titles will not have any changes on the 21st. Someday I'm sure we will add more I admit I'm a bit out of the loop on this one because I am very busy this term, so I haven't had much time to test stuff. There are a lot of settings we can play around with.

There may necessitate some changes but we aren't delaying the update here because of it.

I mean, it's pretty obvious the thing is to look like a mod for the purposes of entertainment, which is certainly one of the textbook definitions of impersonation. So yeah, don't do that. Or impersonate anyone for that matter.

This is very much an active thing we are discussing, but we decided consistency in a busy year was best. We didn't always do this anyway, either, and is a newer invention trying to incentivize discussion on more than just mechanics. Of course, forum activity has gone quite down compared to RoW time rather significantly. Discord is incredibly more active now. Both such forums for the Secret Projects I would say are low usage. There is a lot we need to figure out on how to deal with cross-series spoilers as things progress.

I see the intent behind this suggestion, but note stuff can always can come up in threads, and so I doubt that will truly solve the problem you indicate. If people are forced to use the single forum always for preview content no matter what, I feel people will find it restrictive and compliance will be hard. So the same problem.
