We know there’s Elims. That wouldn’t give us anything useful.

And then we can have each person say what they recieved and narrow down the potential pool of elims. Basically, the elims won't do it because there's ways for us to find out if they do.

So then there's no point in doing it in the first place, and I can make a PM with whoever I want? :P

I've never seen strategizing before a game happen. If we keep it up we won't have anything to talk about D1! :P

If we all decide who to have a PM with and tell each other, then we don't waste any PMs.

I think I'm going to make a PM with Striker.

@forget me not Will you be playing?

I love this idea. Top loops to bottom and if we want we can send info thru the grapevine! PM version of telephone! :D

idk if telephone is the best idea, I just proposed it because then we have the maximum amount of PMs. Theoretically messages could be passed that way, but in a game with no roles, what actual info would there be to pass?

I think we should definitely be sure to use 100% of our available PMs, and I guess we could do that by all saying who we're going to PM and organizing around that, but i think that will almost definitely get messed up. And then even if we use all of our PMs, it's almost certain that they won't be distributed evenly. So a few people might only have one PM and then one person has like 5.

wait, alternate idea, we randomly choose one person, and then we all make our PMs with that person. Like a giant Hub. We wouldn't have max PMs this way, we'd lose one, but it could be pretty funny.

To re-iterate Mat's request, please save this conversation for after the game begins. I understand wanting to share your ideas early so you aren't mis-read for them, but that's part of them game. If optimal strategy is pre-established, it limits discussion D1, and means that anyone who breaks with it will be put under a cloud of unfair suspicion.

lets do this! I love it!

As one way to not lose a PM... I will save this to say on D1.

but everyone would know who that one person is, so the elims could kill them to take out all PMs. Alternatively, that one person is elim...

Okay but enough strategy discussion lol

Of course! Welcome to SE ^_^ (since I'm not running the game, I can't add you to the player list, but the GM should wake up in a couple hours and he'll add you then lol)

Some thought him a fool, others jester, others still thought him an idiot. He was none of those things and all of them. With a little bit of madness thrown in.

He walked down the hall. To be confined to this building was... distasteful, to say the least. To think that the Hastings had fallen so low as to let assassins! into their home, it was mind boggling, mind shattering, mind wetting! Not that, definitely not that one. And to hear the others had discussed strategy before the Elariel crashed the party, it was almost if they had already known it would happen. Hmmm, that was something to look into. He heard a crash, "Ah well, it seems they've already come." He soulcasted a nice gold throne with a seat for cushion. When he sat down, he created an illusion of styles and patterns on the throne and drew his sword, setting it across his lap.

Woah I just realised we can RP, dumb me.

I will throw in Kiel.

He is a lighteyes of the 5th Dahn, people call him intelligent, though he never made such a claim.

He swore the Second Ideal as a Lightweaver, he has accepted his truth, but he still remains close lipped about it.

He spends a lot of his time with his spren, Life.

Life is his only family, and he is looking forward to have some loyal friends and family. But, he just couldn't stop and look for implications in each and every talk, especially after... nothing, it was nothing.

(note that the game is based on Scadrial, not Roshar, though of course if your character is a worldhopper, that doesn't matter all that much :P)
