Kelsier watched through the front view as the dirigible sped over the ocean. He’d be home soon, or, at least, the closest place to a home he had. Already he could see the line of smoke heralding their approach.

Hoblim saw they were going out of the city and tried not to be too surprised about that. He stopped storing and started saying Tefilat HaDerech. He then stripped his iron medallíon - after all, they'll probably start flying when they'll be far enough. He turns to the closest Ghostbloods (probably Trésor), and asks: "Why are we going out of Elendel? Are we headed to Southern Scadrial? Should I have a mask?"

Trèsor shook her head. “We aren’t going that far. And we wouldn’t wear masks anyway; it isn’t our culture and those that know us know that. Only he,” she nodded at Kelsier, “wears a mask.”

Kelsier laughed. “They don’t. I do. The Five Peoples live in the far South of the planet, much further than we’re going.

”The city isn’t on the same island as the volcano.” Kelsier smirked. “I’ll leave that folly for the Earthers.”

Oh, and people on our world do build cities near volcanoes sometimes, I guess it's weird. Though volcanic ash makes the land more fertile, somehow. There has to be a good reason as to why people do things."

“They could try the neighboring, non-volcanic island,” Kelsier suggested. “Same benefits; no risk of molten rock burying you.
