Quivil Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 (edited) "What did I just say," Rylia asks, smiling, slightly annoyed though feeling like she asked for it. Quote That was amazing. And something I'd expect of one of my family members. It made me smile. I keep smiling every time I think of it. Edited May 5, 2021 by Tani

Quote She totally asked for it. Kelsier laughed, then nodded to Roues. “I think we’re far enough now. Take us up.” Roues smiled, manipulated a few switches on his dashboard. “You’ll want to strap in,” he warned as the pontoons lifted and the second set of fans engaged. “And make sure you’re storing as much weight as possible.”

Eventually Roues eased off on the engines, allowing the vessel to maintain an even height. He skillfully directed the ship, careful to compensate for the winds as he headed out over the ocean.

I can't very well say please say that again in English, since I'm not sure Scadrians even speak English (in fact I'm sure they don't.) Tho you're right that she asked for it.

He’d be home soon, or, at least, the closest place to a home he had. Already he could see the line of smoke heralding their approach.

Hoblim saw they were going out of the city and tried not to be too surprised about that. He stopped storing and started saying Tefilat HaDerech. He then stripped his iron medallíon - after all, they'll probably start flying when they'll be far enough. He turns to the closest Ghostbloods (probably Trésor), and asks: "Why are we going out of Elendel? Are we headed to Southern Scadrial? Should I have a mask?"

Trèsor shook her head. “We aren’t going that far. And we wouldn’t wear masks anyway; it isn’t our culture and those that know us know that. Only he,” she nodded at Kelsier, “wears a mask.” Quote The ship is currently flying. The smoke thickened as they neared their destination, and an angry red glow appeared in the horizon.
