Adrienne rolled her eyes, then sighed. "I guess that beats getting spiked. I'm in."

Kelsier smiled. “Glad to hear. For the record though, you’ve technically been spiked already.” He smirked, fingering the hole in his left ear.

A Nicrosil is a nicroburst, not a leeched. That’s Chromium.

@Channelknight Fadran

Kelsier nodded. “Good thinking. Let me know when they contact you.”

Marea didn’t both following the escapee’s trail. Instead she went to the general store. If you were confused and on the run, you’d need directions and supplies. The general store offered both.

"Can I borrow some money for a room? Those guys took all my money."

Kelsier laughed. “You’re one of mine, at least for now. And I take care of my own.” He scrawled a few messy lines on a piece of foil, then sealed it with a stylized marewill crossed with two Spears. “Tell the bank Lord Elariel sent you.”

Kelsier smirked. So long as you work for me, you are.

All right. I'll try Marsh. I have little time, and little talent, but I'll try.

Kell? You sent for me? Said Marsh. He stood in the Shadow of a building in Weathering.

Maybe it's too convenient for him to be around here, but... Let's assume he closed some things for Wax and Wayne before leaving to Elendel, fine? Harmony's errands and stuff.

Hoblim closed Arcanum Unbounded and took Warbreaker hesitantly, then started reading - and storing memories of - the Ars Arcanum. When he finished, he looked up around him, and out the window. Was it after midday yet? He rose and walked to Trésor. "Is it afternoon already? What time is it? I probably should align my watch to local time."

I've decided something. I'm willing to be any NPCs, just @ me. I would like there to be two people willing to be NPCs, in case I want someone else to be an NPC I interact with.

The door opens and I look up from the counter, seeing a stern woman come in. "'Izzer sumthin you need, ma'am?"

Adrienne totally got Kelsier's bank money, totally got herself a room, and totally waited patiently for the following morning for those sketchy guys to return.

*doubts*

So what did she actually do?

You guys send me a million posts over Shabbos...

Kelsier smirked, standing up as the train arrived.

Definitely not, Kelsier sent back. I do have information for you though, if you can get on the train without being too obvious.

Trésor nodded. “It’s about four in the afternoon.”

Marea shook her head. “I’m waiting for someone, if you don’t mind.” She turned to the shelves, browsing the merchandise.

Isnt this in the Roughs?

I only have pictures/drawings on the shelves. The real goods are in the back room to prevent shoplifting.

"If ye ain't buyin', ye gotta leave." He hesitates, then continues. This woman looks harmless enough. "Tell ye what, if ye buy, ye c'n stay 'til closin' time."

Marea shrugged. “It’s my friend that needs supplies. I’m just paying. So I’ll be buying once she arrives.”

"What's she look like? An' does she know she's yer friend?"

Marea smiled. “Not yet she doesn’t. She just escaped from some very nasty men. This is the logical place for her to end up.” She lifted a rucksack from the shelf, dropping it on the counter. “I’ll buy this now, and anything else when she comes.”

As he finishes the sale he tells her "Y'know, if I'd just run from some gang I'd prob'ly 'ide close to 'ome fer a couple days, let things settle down a bit afore I went farther afield. Folks expect a man to run an jus' keep runnin'. 'Ow 'bowt ye look aroun' in town, an I'll keep an eye out fer 'er 'ere. Closin' time's sunset, ye c'n check 'ere then if ye 'aven't found 'er yerself. If'n she comes in I'll try teh keep 'er for ye."

“I doubt she knows where she is,” Marea explained. “And she’ll need food and clothing. This is the best place to find those things. And I don’t know the town well enough to know where else to look. I doubt she does either.”

I can. I'll board the next one to Elendel, then.

Marsh carefully put sunglasses over his spikes and made himself a little younger, growing his hair back. This way he was a little less noticeable. Add to that Connection dumping, and no one noticed him. He went to the train station.

Hoblim immediately realigned his watch, then asked: "So, when do we get lunch? And when is sunset?"

Lilliana was finished (for the moment) with the chemistry portion of the notebook, and had moved onto biology. She looked at what she was writing, and winced. Wow. I didn't know it was possible for my handwriting to get worse. She kept writing, and then realized that people had started talking. She looked up, and heard Hoblim say something about lunch. She had drawn a few diagrams (which sucked because of her lack of artistic talent and lack of coordination) and was labeling them.

I don’t think youth works that way. Kelsier keeps his scars, for example. It just makes you a younger version of your current self. Gold healing should allow Marsh to regrow his hair, assuming he is capable of doing so as an Inquisitor and sees himself as having hair. But that’s separate from youth.

“No idea on the latter, I’m afraid,” Trésor answered. “Speak to Braiser about food. He’s waiting in your kitchen.”

Kelsier watched as the train slowed at the next stop. First class, private compartment. Third down from the rear, on your right.
