Ashbringer's role was vanilla @Quinn0928, that would actually make the elims more likely to avoid killing him.

As for the XP lynch there was probably 1 or 2 elims on the train. I'm going to go double check their posts with alignment in mind.

Now, more miscellaneous information. I still retain my opinion of Illwei's allignment, and personally I think that Connie's abstaning from voting seems more elimmy than villagery @Matrim's Dice

Oh, wow, I'm smart *facepalm* okay, so ignore what I'd said before

I expected this outcome. I do not see a good reason for Faleast's death, so perhaps Daziron is correct in the "Denial of Information" theory.

Vote history:

Turtle pokes Kriti.

Daziron pokes Reading.

Turtle retracts Kriti

Reading pokes Banana

Daziron retracts Reading.

Somebody pokes Faleast

Turtle pokes Reading

Illwei votes Lotus

Somebody retracts Faleast

Banana pokes Lord Silberfarben

Somebody votes Illwei for not explaining

Turtle retracts Reading

Yazadan votes Dark for claiming Diagrammist

Banana votes Illwei for not explaining

Daziron votes Illwei for not explaining.

Illwei votes Turtle for thinking standard behavior is sus.

Daziron retracts Illwei for explaining.

Daziron votes Experience for "bad gut" and lack of better options.Somebody [cites terrible strategy]

Illwei retracts Lotus.

Somebody retracts Illwei and votes Experience for their bad strategy.

Jesereth votes Somebody for a strange vote.

Experience votes Somebody for a strange vote

Banana votes Somebody for a strange vote.

Jesereth retracts Somebody because they are new.

Experience retracts Somebody because they are new.

Banana retracts Somebody because they are new and votes Experience.

Banana retracts Experience. Willing to vote Illwei.

Banana votes Illwei.

Dark votes Experience to prevent a tie between two Ghostbloods.

Kriti votes Experience because of "their words and changing". @Ghanderflaffle, what did you mean by this?

Conclusion: The Somebody votes seem a bit... strange. Jesereth is new, so they could perhaps be excused, but Experience is, as the name implies, experienced. Banana didn't want a tie, so it is possibly excusable. The subsequent retractions are understandable in the context of not wanting to kill a new player, but still, the sequentiality of the votes and retractions seems odd. Too close together. The Experience lynch was founded on not liking the strategy. If I had known that the vote was tied between Illwei and Experience at the time, I would have probably voted for Illwei. However, I was working off of false information, and I believed that would cause a tie right before the vote closed. I do not know why Kriti voted Experience. The votes on Illwei seem founded on their explanation of voting for Lotus, and then they were retracted. I currently note Illwei, Kriti, Jesereth, and Banana. However, three of those are new, so I believe it may just be newbie syndrome.

@Somebody from Sel, Have you played Mafia elsewhere before?

I think that the Experience train was bad, and I said it before. Suggesting what he suggested was not an Elim-y thing to do, that would draw too much attention.

I'm kinda glad a double kill didn't happen :P.

so, Somebody seems strange to me. Their reasoning to go to XP seemed nonexistant (I know they said why but still) it felt to me that people were hopping off of me, so they needed to find someone else to die.

If Kings_way thought that I was also an Elim, I have no clue why he didn't let it be a tie between me and XP.

They weren’t consistent and jumped around a bit. That might’ve just been me, but they also proposed and pushed for mass suicide with them being the only survivor. That sets off some bells.

?

I didn't think you were "also" an elim. I had mild suspicion of you, but I didn't think XP was an elim. I had voted XP to avoid a double lynch, and switched to you in hope of other people switching. I don't think I could have made it a tie.

Why did you want a double lynch? We said before that a double lynch was bad for the village. Also, that's contradictory because you definitely could have caused a double lynch by changing to Illwei. Your original vote on XP didn't even cause a double lynch in the first place.

I'll see how the cycle progresses before placing my vote. But I'm looking at you sideways now.

Personally, I think a double lynch is good for the village if done in the first couple of cycles.  Sure, odds are you will lynch two villagers but you also get more information to work with.  Later in the game it's a bad idea due to the dwindling numbers of village players but at the start, the payoff is worth it imo.

Oh... I didn't mean for it to be that way. I just voted for the first time back in my other game, and I wasn't quite sure who to vote for. If I were an elim, wouldn't I know who I should vote for, since I would know all of the other people were villagers?

Yes I have and although it's not the best excuse it was 12 am when I voted XP and I slept through rollover but I do think the people who voted on and off me are slightly sus I'm also not liking kings_way much let's just poke him Banana/kings_way

I spy an IKYK...

Well, yeah, but that comes with a whole dose of not looking suspicious. The elims know who everyone is, so they know the alignment of who they're voting on. They can bus teammates a little, swing things a little... all while knowing if they vote on somebody who flips village it could throw shade on them. It's possible you realized this and abstained from voting, though I don't really think that's what happened.

I need to go back and look, but the people who went off immediately, or the person who pointed it out are suspicious to me. I need to go back and see who they were, but since this isn't Somebody's first time playing mafia?

I didn't want a double lynch, at least not on D1. My original vote on XP was to prevent a double lynch, not cause one. I switched to Illwei in the hope that people would switch votes.

I don't know where you could have gotten the impression that I wanted a double lynch. All in all, your post seemed like you were trying to spark confusion and get me lynched, like you did with Illwei in LG70 (when you were an elim) That seems very sus to me. Matrim

Bold mine....*Realization*

Nope, I didn't just read that wrong. Nope. Sorry.

Ahem.

Okay, forget that post you quoted. It's completely pointless now.

Because it was based off me thinking Kings wanted a double lynch. I only thought that because I misread his post, and now that I've realized that, everything I said there is based on something that didn't actually happen.

Briefly, sure.

Daziron again hovered over the plains, but this time a few feet above. Better for a getaway, if needed. Two had already died. And while Daziron had a sort of... insurance policy in that regard, he still would not appreciate being sent back to Braize.

His mind mulled over why he had chosen to make an attempt to enter the Ghostblood organization; it had not been a command from Odium or from his superiors. Perhaps he thought there was information, or perhaps he anticipated power. Surely the Ghostbloods offered both.

Daziron made no attempt to cover his identity as a Fused. What was the point? If the Ghostbloods' reputation in investigation and espionage was even half what it was described to be, they would discover what he was well before this storming interrogation was over.

As he stared into the harsh sunlight, a conversation broke out behind him, between the one called Connie, and... Somebody. He couldn't remember who. Regardless, he was both annoyed and impressed that they would do so this close to where he was.

Kings, I'd like a response to my clarification. There's no point in voting on me for a mistake.
