"Let's go then" he starts walking towards it

Turtle follows, looking annoyed at something. "So, who are you going to pose as? I assume that by joining me you have a good disguise planned for going to what is essentially the most important court in the world. I already have a spot in the scribes there, though I won't say how I got it." She dismisses her blade, walking near Somebody.

(Actually, considering how this is split into hours, I think we are all staying in one spot)

"I have a disguise as somebody don't you worry" they're just gonna pretend to be a worker

"Ok."

Shard of reading I don't think this poke really matters now, seen as we've started doing something. Also, I love how there's more RP here than in the LG.

Reasoning? You have a tendency to vote in really short posts without reasoning. If it's a poke vote, just say so!

Meh, that's just a Illwei thing. Personally I find little suspicon in that in of as itself.

Although I would like to know why, Illewi.

  1. Try not to double post; just edit something in to your original one if no one has said anything else
  2. Is that an elim claim?

90% of the recent activity is RP, so there isn't really much to go off as of now. I'll reread the first page and a half and see if anything jumps out at me. To the RPers: Any game related thoughts?

Not necessarily, but probably, since there isn't any substantial evidence. Also, don't double post.

If you have something else to say, you can edit it into your post, like I just did.

No it's the fact that there is a vote in him and nobody else and when I posted that I thought there was another post sry

for those who can read this I'm really sorry but you don't all need to jump on me like that

Ah, I see. Thanks for the clarification. (It is worth saying that there will undoubtedly be many more votes before the cycle closes, though.)

It's D1, meaning anything that we see that could be suspicious we'll go for. There isn't enough content to do anything else...

The recruits are throwing votes around like roasted beetles. The fools. Do they not realise that a tie gets everyone killed? If we are to kill, we must do so with intent, or we'll lose a great deal of our number without gaining any information. The Diagrammists merely have to hurl a poke vote on someone to kill them and excuse it away as a first hour vote. Our situation is foolish and must be rectified. Find a reason, kill one person for that reason, and don't get everyone killed.

General: Please keep in mind that the wrath of the mob will slaughter all members of a tie. To prevent us Diagrammists from taking advantage of this, you must make sure that there is no potential for a tie. Alternatively, you could use the tie to kill all of your suspicions in one fell swoop. In addition, many of these skills are one use only, because you are all inexperienced plebs. Hoard your abilities wisely. Don’t tell anyone your skill. It is far too risky. For one-use skills, feel free to claim after the fact, since it doesn't matter if you are killed afterwards.

Tough: Some people possess extraordinary physical prowess, capable of fighting off mobs to protect someone. However, this is exhausting, so it can only be used once. Useful if one believes that an individual is at risk for being killed. Interestingly, one could use this to stop the mob justice of the day, knowing full well who would be killed. The limited use of this ability makes it difficult to protect a necessary individual from the Diagrammists for a prolonged period of time, so perhaps the general populace should adopt a policy of transparency and information deposition so that the death of an individual will not lose us information.

Sneaky: So long as one of these stealthy individuals lives, private conversations remain possible. I ask that any and all sneaky people prioritise staying alive, as private conversations are helpful.

Insightful: You can learn people’s skills. Good to ensure we do not slaughter a sneaky individual. In addition, this allows us to remain informed as to the general state of things. I ask that you go public with any information you have acquired, though I would recommend informing the general populace via a mouthpiece and private communications. The more we know, the better. However, if you believe that informing the general populace of a specific individual’s skill would be dangerous, you are welcome to abstain.

Convincing: You lie well enough that you can make your voice seem more important. This only works once, since repeat lies are easy to see through. Use only when you think it might matter. Make a tie, break a tie, that sort of thing.

Lethal: You are a trained assassin with only one dose of poison. You really underprepared, didn’t you? Save this until you are certain of your suspicions.

Connected: You know someone here. You can ask them what they really are, and they will tell you the truth. Save this for uncertainty, for confusion, for a moment of crucial necessity. Feel free to tell everyone what you saw after the fact, since you are useless post-scan. However, this is a way for us Diagrammists to lie or gain trust.

Recommended: You are worthless.

Bold is mine to emphasize what I'm responding to.

General: Ties can be great for information gathering.  If two people are up for a tie and someone breaks it that isn't one of the ones tied, then that can indicate an elim saving a teammate.  Plus a one for one trade is far better for the village than the elims.  If the ties resulted in a random kill then I would advocate that every lynch is tied but since it isn't then we probably shouldn't do that :( but that doesn't mean ties are bad.  Far from it.

Tough:  I expect the elims to have a Tough so anyone that does survive the lynch or kill should be looked at closely.  Very closely.

Insightful:  There is no need to reveal what you have found at all.  Someones role does not indicate that they are evil.  Far from it.  I can no longer count the number of games where the GMs add a 'useless' role to the elim team just to mess with this type of role.  As the only class that can scan each cycle Insightful players are better off saving their scans until they are either up for the lynch or have someone fully trusted.  Then they can have it info dumped into the thread but even then certain roles like Lethal and Connected are far better off not being revealed until after they have used their abilities.  Insightful players would then be able to confirm the claimants role or disprove it whichever the case may be.

Convincing:  I would hold onto this ability for as long as possible.  Should the game come down to three/four players, this role will shift the balance in your favour no matter which side you are on.

Lethal:  Or just roll some dice and take a shot in the dark.  That's what I do and I'm 7 from 8.  8 kills, 7 dead elims.  I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the elim team with this role as it is a one shot kill.

Connected:  I find this very telling and am surprised no one has seen it or voted for Gears because of it.  No one until now that is.  Gears.
Also, don't save your ability.  Use it as soon as you can as it will have the village far more than waiting.  If we have just two Connected players it will give us two cleared players that the elims will have to deal with or they will lose the game.  Use your ability this cycle and reveal your results as soon as you can.

Recommended:  Far from worthless.  You only have the thread and PMs to work with but that is a good thing.  It prevents you being blinded by your abilities.  You can focus on what players are saying and not have to worry about who is the best target for your role.  Vanilla roles generally make up most of the players and have the best lynching rates.  Sure you might not have the biggest impact in any given cycle, but over the course of the game, I would put my faith in the roleless over anyone else.

Can I also claim that title?  I mean I haven't played with any of you before so that makes me a newbie right?

Reading... why'd you spoiler your vote?

I know you've already changed this but in future and to others, spoilering your vote can mean that it's missed when the GMs do a vote count at end of cycle.

Gears always elim claims in his RP posts so it's NIA from him.

Weeeelllll the reason no one has is because Gears has claimed elim the past 5 or 6 games he's been in. He's been village every one of those games, and I'm not sure if that means he'd do it as an elim because he 'does it as a villager' or some other IKYK situations. It's a largely NAI part of his playstyle, however strange it is.

Oh! I completely forgot to say things that I meant to say!

First of all
  - If you're going to double post, you can Edit your original post.
  - Also, when Editing, try not to edit the wording, or edit in things to your message without marking it as an edit,
  - I don't know about Elk, but I know that Straw likes people to tag him if they edit in a vote.

Second of all

Hello! I was going to not join this game, but then I saw it, The light:

"The vote minimum is 1 vote. In case of a tie, all tied parties will be eliminated. Welcome to the ghostbloods."

and I couldn't resist.

Now may I reccomend

We vote out more than one person today?

Cool.

But what about your vote on Lotus?

EDIT: Also, I don't really like the idea of voting out two people, especially D1 where the elims can hide in the lynch easy. Doing this could potentially mean 3 players dead, which is 1/6 of the whole group.

If we do have a tie, it should be unplanned. That way, we can at least gain some info from it.
