As the real Melody walked around Ellis, disguised by illusions reversing the wavelengths of sound and light to render her invisible, the illusionary Melody stepped backward and away from Ellis. "Just don't go too far, okay?" The illusionary Melody stepped to retrieve the sword she had thrown at Ellis.

Something clouded her gaze, something unreadable. Q tapped her chin in thought. "I know that if I don't join them, he will kill them. That's why I must stay," she muttered under her breath. Q paused, freezing from shock it appears. "That won't happen. I won't allow it to happen. I'll protect them from him, from me. It's my problem, not theirs." She seemed to be talking to someone else, but no one could tell who.

Q looked back up at him, then nodded. "I'll accompany you."

"Sure, sounds like fun! If I could just..." Illusory Melody reached for the sword and grasped the handle, picking an illusion of the sword up. It actually stayed on the ground, but no one would be able to tell.
