Q stumbled out of a room off in the hallway to the left, clutching the side of her face. Blood seeped through her fingers as she walked into the hallway, but not quite in sight of the two. She tried wiping away the blood from the small gash, but blood and tears kept streaming down her face. As Q heard voices, she glanced in the direction of where the voices were coming from, muttering to herself about how she could protect someone from a distance if needed.

"It can't be my––of course, I can––" Q looked up at the two, blood still seeping through her fingers. She straightened herself, letting her hands fall to her side. Q let out a breath and composed herself. "Yeah, I'm fine. I was..." Q didn't finish the sentence, the gash on her face twitching. "I was taking care of some business."

Q flinched as Ellis healed her. Her expression didn't relax when she batted his hand away. "Yeah, yeah, thanks." She didn't wipe away the remaining blood as she nodded her head in thanks, sincerity showing through her usual guarded eyes for spare a second before returning back to being guarded.
