Riley poked their head around the corner. The stairs were filled with people blocking the way to the dorms. They withdrew and stood there awkwardly for a moment, then sighed and moved over to try and edge through. 

[Condensation she/her]

"Oh, hello! You're the new kid, right? Would you like to slide?" Crescendo motioned to the banister.

Ros raises an eyebrow before shrugging. He walks up to the top of the stairs and watches for a little while.

Ros struggles at first, but then he resigns to try it.

Crescendo concentrated hard and slicked the banister.

"Bye now!" Selia calls as they slide down. "That's your nickname now, ok?" she says to Crescendo.

[Condensation she/her]

"What, Cres? That's great! As long as I can call you... um. I can't think of anything. What do you like to be called?"

[Negative_Null They/Them]

She shrugs "I went by Sel for a while, but that ended up being confusing. But if you want to call me that, or think of a different one I'm all for it. Oh!'" She runs down the stairs. "So what did you think?" she asks them.

Ros crashes ungracefully at the bottom of the bannister before managing to get up. After he got up, he tries to assist Leonie with getting up.

"That was not what I was expecting, let me help you my lady."

Crescendo stood there, her face twisted in thought. "What about something to do with your order? You're a Willshaper, right?" Then she sees Leonie and Ros at the bottom of the banister and runs down the stairs. "Oh my goodness, are you guys all right?"

"Exhilarating, although the sudden stop at the end is a bit of an issue, or at least I think so Madam."

"Um, no thanks," Riley said, embarrassed but not sure why. It was only a bunch of kids having fun. "I just need to get past you guys."

"I apologize, it was not my intent."

Ros moves out of the way rather quickly.

"Oh, sorry." Crescendo moved out of the way. "So, do either of you want to go again?"

"I'm quite alright madam Crescendo, unless you think otherwise?"

[Negative_Null They/Them]

"Hmm"

...

"Oh really?"

Selia turns around and sees Sebarial

"Brightness, do you mind if I mess up your house a little bit?"

"I mean, I think I'll go again, but I'm not going to make you." Crescendo wonders, not for the first time, what Ros was before he became a Radiant.

Ros Bows his head slightly.

A smile crosses Selia's face. "No guarantees. Now, how do we do this?'"

...

"So like..."

Selia sucks in some stormlight, then puts her hand on the stair way. The stairs below her smooth into a ramp, although not all the way down, and she almost falls.

"Whoah! Aweome."

 

[Condensation she/her]

"Ros, of course it's fine with me. Even if it weren't, I couldn't make you do anything you didn't want to do. You realize that, right? You're a Knight Radiant now." Crescendo runs to the top of the stairs and gets ready to slide. Then she sees the slide Selia made and runs down. "Do you mind if we slide on this instead?" she asks.

Ros stands back to watch, and starts mumbling.

"Oh, is it morning already? It's been pretty good. Want to join us?"

Leonie yelps as she slides down the banister, completely unprepared for how slippery it would be.

Leonie slips, falls, breaks her neck, and dies Leonie falls off the banister halfway to the bottom and tumbles down the staircase.
