I'm just the local ally. I'm a straight cis male, who just showed up one day because of @Through The Living Glass and made jokes and the gays said, "we like him" and adopted me.

Hai! :3

*patpatpat*

Get adopted, nerd

I'm curious, what brings you all to the gay disasters area of the shard?

I'm pan, demiromantic, also genderqueer in some way. I usually say agender.

I'm bi :D:D

I also recently discovered I'm Ace as well

Okay @Kansas Stormcursed you may be right idk. But for now you get a point.

I'm trying out he/them pronouns cause they feel kinda right, so we'll see. Good enough for you?

Our plans are working! @The Bagel Boy, before he wouldn't even listen to us even try to convince him to use any other pronouns. In a years time @Ookla the Knight, you'll be as gay as the rest of us. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Ok, listen. ORV is amazing. I love it. But I don't think it's for everyone. I'm extremely into narratology, which is part of the reason I like it so much. But that's not super common. Not only that, but I don't think you're going to sell someone who wants to read gay stuff with 551 chapters of only shipping and subtext.

fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine

ill put my love for orv into my 'only for the gc actually orv readers' hole...

*smirks* I had a feeling. Cishets don't become a huge part of this thread and join the RP thread (which I really gotta get back to)

Anyway, the rest of y'all can chill. As much as your pressure might have moved things along, we do not want to pressure someone into something they aren't. If he's just a straight demiboy, good for them.

Anyway, @Ookla the Knight (btw Ookla month is over now[Edit: I read your member title. It makes sense now]), I recommend you look inwards, try and get a handle on your identity. Think about what feels right. And you know my role on this thread, so don't hesitate to ask any questions or clarification.

Here's a poem I wrote 4 days ago, attempting to emulate the style of Sappho. The opening line is based on an actual quote from her.

Spoiler

I cannot weave—slender Aphrodite has overcome me with longing for a girl
As I work, my thoughts drift only to the form of women
Smooth—pristine—comforting—ethereal—flawless
Their perfection overtakes me
And so I weep, taken over by passion
As images of beauty drift across my gaze
And I collapse onto my mattress
Wishing above all else that it was the clutch of a woman
Alas! My pleas to the world are unanswered and my weaving never finished

It's pretty mid as an imitation piece I think, but a decent gay yearning poem.
