Was that just in reference to yourself?

I get and respect personal choices about relationships and all, but aromanticism and asexuality aren't choices. Like, as an aro person, I have literally never felt romantic attraction. I don't choose to not have those feelings, they just never develop

Yep. The thing Tess posted kinda clued me in. Im not aro, that’s just a personal choice. 

Im not calling anyone in particular broken, though i would generalize that life kind of sucks, and some days i feel like i broke my life.

Update 

I saw them the weekend before last
The 10th
We caught up, it was really fun
Talked about books, their new school, music, their family stuff, etc

Originally they were going to be moving out of state, then flying back here first to go see Hamilton live with me, then again later for the aforementioned beach stay with their family
But apparently the plan changed
Their mom won't let them leave so they're staying here
And so they asked me what I'm doing this summer
So that's fun

We both had a really good time

Aaaand then I texted them 
And I haven't gotten a response for several days
So
We're back to that
They do this a lot
So
Yay.

and im nervous as hail. Okay so two of my absolute best friends at church are apparently super supportive??? Okay i went to a bday party of my friend let’s call her H and there my gaydar went off around this dude who i always wanted to talk to cause he seemed super cool, anyways HES TRANSMASC so i eventually and very awkwardly broached my being trans and we chatted about wether or not H and the other bestie C were supportive, and i was like, in my experience religous people arent the best and he was like, naw dude they are so great with it. They call him correct names, even correcting others. 

So i wanna come out to them but im so scared ive never came out like this im scareddd
