Oh, that's probably it. I mixed it up. I was trying to be an insect person. Thanks for that

Good!

The orange holed stepped up to the door to the royal hall and opened it.

Revealed inside was a spherical white room, entirely clear of all decoration save a single chair in the middle crafted of wrought iron snakes.
Sitting on the chair was a holed with scales as black as a starless night. Flanking him were two lines of holed in the colors orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. Oddly enough, there were no reds. Santonio stood slightly in front and off to the side. The holed that had led them in took her place in one of the lines. All ten holed stared at the incoming Fellowship in a decidedly disconcerting way.
At last, Aridith spoke. "Greetings, travelers." He didn't sound evil. "I see that none of you wished to desert your companion?"

"Nope," Kindness says bravely, feeling just about the opposite of brave.  "We stick together."  She tries, unsuccessfully, to rid her head of the dulcimer tune playing.  Now is not the time for this!

Enter a username stays silent. He figures that would be the best for the situation. He might have been able to Soothe and Riot the king to be more merciful... If he actually had Allomantic brass and zinc.

Why was that "and" capitalized?

Ok, wow. I've missed a lot.

Queen had been following the group in a daze, not really paying attention to anything until they stood before the king. He wasn't as intimidating as she had imagined, he was more intimidating. Queen, however, was not fazed, as she had finally come to terms with who she was and knew that she could endure anything this holed could throw at them. She would stay with her new friends, no matter what.

Baalhan steps forward. His light reflects off of the walls suffusing the chamber with light. "They say you are the king of this realm. I am Baalhan he who grants victory, slayer of kingdoms, master of the field of battle, prince of the immortal blade, guardian of the house of Gilgamesh the king, embodiment of slaughter and the true Deity of War. I would approach and speak." His voice is neutral.

I'm in front of the king's throne, bowing. I hand his servant a slice of pineapple, who tastes it for poison

The blue holed glances at the food. Through his power, he knows that the food is safe to eat. He hands it to the king, who takes a bite, chews, and swallows.

Vapor stepped up. "Why did you ask for me?"

"Tell me," he says at last, "What do you know of your parents?"

"They were killed by a man named Jared, who says they were running experiments on his sister."

*whispered* Great holed, servant of his highness, would you ask the lord if he is planning on addressing the deity in the throne room?

Uh, that just reminded me- Aridith's servants would almost definitely be enthralled... are you okay with that?

Aridith raised an eyebrow. "You know more than I thought you would. In fact... ah, yes, I see you have met this Jared. And his sister as well. Interesting." He waved his hand. "But unrelated to the matter at hand- which is, of course, your parents."

It's ok. I do think it not unlikely I would be "unworthy" to address the king directly, which is the point I'm making here. Even if he can hear directly already.

"You know something about this?" Fadran asks.

"Tell us. Please." T speaks forcibly to the king, realizing partway through that she is speaking to royalty.

Ember is looking around the throne room, looking at things suspiciously.

"What?" Vapor gasped. "You rescued them? Why?"

"They seemed like they would be amenable to working for me," said Aridith.
