Lego Mistborn he/him Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 Well, we all will. The question is if he'll die first. 3
Mason Wheeler Posted September 26, 2024 Posted September 26, 2024 Well that was unexpected. While reading through technical documentation on the PostgreSQL database, I came across this example block: BEGIN WORK; -- Set up a cursor: DECLARE liahona SCROLL CURSOR FOR SELECT * FROM films; -- Fetch the first 5 rows in the cursor liahona: FETCH FORWARD 5 FROM liahona; code | title | did | date_prod | kind | len -------+-------------------------+-----+------------+----------+------- BL101 | The Third Man | 101 | 1949-12-23 | Drama | 01:44 BL102 | The African Queen | 101 | 1951-08-11 | Romantic | 01:43 JL201 | Une Femme est une Femme | 102 | 1961-03-12 | Romantic | 01:25 P_301 | Vertigo | 103 | 1958-11-14 | Action | 02:08 P_302 | Becket | 103 | 1964-02-03 | Drama | 02:28 -- Fetch the previous row: FETCH PRIOR FROM liahona; code | title | did | date_prod | kind | len -------+---------+-----+------------+--------+------- P_301 | Vertigo | 103 | 1958-11-14 | Action | 02:08 -- Close the cursor and end the transaction: CLOSE liahona; COMMIT WORK; Suddenly I'm very curious as to who's writing these docs! 3

Guest Ψιτιsτηε Βεsτ Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 That was truly great. There were so many truth bombs, and a temple announced just next to me...(NO, not the Utah one)

This is not entirely accurate; it's a powerful dessicant (drying-out agent) which makes it a very effective insecticide to protect gardens and trees from bugs without leaving poisonous residue on the food produced.

This decade as important as the decade with the restoration of the priesthood, the printing of the BoM, etc. That's crazy! 4
Wasing the want of this Posted October 11, 2024 Posted October 11, 2024 (edited) I liked Brother Wilcox, my favorite quote from him was "don't let the world change you when you were born to change the world" Edited October 11, 2024 by Wasing the want of this 5
Eran of Arcadia Posted October 11, 2024 Posted October 11, 2024 I'm firmly in the "Pluto belongs in the dwarf planet class," but I also have to say that my astronomy-obsessed daughter paid far more attention to Sister Browning's talk than to any other. 6
