“Harry Potter. The fifth one.”

He grinned sheepishly.

”This is my eleventh time reading it.”

Shana laughed.

"I know that one!"

She exclaimed and considered to pull a stool over for herself. But that would mean she'd have to let go of him and that was no option.

"I always felt sorry for the large snake."

My favourite as well.

Ben smiled, happy that Shana had read Harry Potter.

”Which one? The basilisk or Nagini?”

Does Wheel of Time exist in this world? I'm just unsure whether anything Brandon related is in this world (For those of you somehow unaware- he finished the series)

Leona walked into the kitchen. After many hours slaving away at her pre-cal homework, she was done. Finally.

"Anyone got a clue as to what we're having for dinner?"

@BookishOcelot

Flid poked his head out the fridge. "I was just gonna microwave a pizza."

I think we're STICKING to cosmere magics, it would be chaos if we had something like the epics running around for example.

"The basilisk. He looked so sad when they killed him."

Shana fell silent for a moment, content to sit there, close to him. A day, no not even a day. A couple of hours. But they meant so much to her. What if he realized, that she was different, that she was his opposite?

"Ben, does it bother you that I don't read that many books?"

“Not really, no.”

He paused, thinking.

”I mostly started reading because I didn’t really have any friends- I still kinda don’t, actually,”

He laughed nervously.

“So I’ve gotten used to not having anyone to talk about them with.”

He put his book down.

”I don’t want you to feel pressured to change anything about yourself just because we are in a relationship. You are perfect the way you are.”

Gosh, Harry Potter. I read them so long ago I don't remember which one is my favorite. Glad I'm just re-reading them.

Also, wow, I got distracted for a day and there were five new pages. Spring break is dangerous.

Edwin got up headed to the front door. A lot had happened today, the most eventful day since he had started living there actually, and he wanted to take a walk to let it sink in.

"There's so many new people, this is gonna be so much fun." said Twinkle, spinning in the air.

"What is? The house? School? Be clear." he said, though joking. He was feeling the same. There had been bad things today, really bad but, everything was more or less settled and things were looking good, or should he say exciting?

Does Brandon even exist in this world? Also, given that I'm probably the only one who cares- we're just gonna declare that the Wheel of Time books do in fact exist in this world

Ah yes, things are definitely getting exciting...;)

What's Stan Lee in the MCU? (I vote yes on having BS in this world, but we should probably have him secretly be a Radiant or something and where most people think of it as total fiction, they just think of it as science fiction or something - only the world and a few details have changed, otherwise it's practically history. :P Just an idea.)

"So you used to live in NYC? Big city."

Please, no Cosmere books. That would screw with Sha-thoexis so hard...

Wait, no. Xino's right.

I smiled. "I've never been over on that side of the country - haven't been many places, actually. I bet traveling is awesome?" I looked at her questioningly when I said it.

"Sure, if you like being tired all the time." Jamie joked, "But really, I love traveling. I ended up going to a lot of the big Eastern cities right after I graduated. It was probably the best time I've ever had. We never went anywhere when I was a kid. Too dangerous."

I laughed, then sighed. "Dangerous? But you've got powers that make you stronger." And useful. And good enough.

Jamie sighed, looking out over the city, then back at Cassie.

"Wasn't just me," Jamie said, "my overprotective mother is a Full Feruchemist. I assume she about died when she got my note about coming here." she grinned evily, then broke into laughter.
