Once she had finally found it, she parked a few spaces over. Suppressing a grin, she walked over to the driver's-side window and knocked on it. "License and registration please." she asked, barely containing her laughter.

"Jeez, Jamie, ack." Rolling her eyes as she twisted the key and opened the door, she added, "Next time wait until I turn the car off!"

They sent it to him by boat and he gave it to Jamie (During the timeskip) Jamie began to laugh to hard that she had to lean against the car. "Rusts and ruin that was hillarious." she put on a straight face, but barely keeping it. She managed to say: "So." before she burst out laughing again.

The room was absolutely filled with people she didn't know, and if there were only people she didn't know there, then she would probably spend most of the time standing around not talking to anyone and feeling incredibly out of place. Unless . . . Evelyn glanced back the way she had come. It was dark and quiet out there. No one would notice if she just slipped out and read for the whole time . . . It was dark, true, but she had a flashlight in her ever-present book bag that she could use. You agreed to come, Evelyn thought forcefully, turning back towards the dance, you can't exactly back out now. Sighing internally, she fixed a smile on her face and entered the room. 1
