"Cass, you might want to hold on!" she said loudly, before gunning the engine and shooting down the driveway. Pewter kept her balanced and in control as they sped across the city. After focusing for a minute he could feel... something. He exhaled, then sucked in a breath and focused on gathering the stuff that had been leaving. Then he exhaled again, blowing some stormlight into the garnet. It started glowing faintly. "Well... would you look at that..." He stared at it in amazement.
