Makes me wonder if Mari can see them as well, given her ability to see stuff lurking in/beyond the alleys, as well as her ability to sense alleymatics usage

We've been playing kind of wild with who can see them and who can't, so up to you probably.

... I definitely knew they were supposed to be invisible

Honestly I defer to you as technically they are your creation. I would guess though, that she might not be able to see them fully. Perhaps something out of the corner of her eyes?

That makes sense, I guess. She probably wouldn't even realize they were something other than her regular visions even if she did catch glimpses of them

The way we’ve been playing it is that if someone engages them directly, they are very quick to attack and rewrite memories. So if she openly noticed them, they’d openly notice her too. So it would probably be in her best interest to not see them fully just for congruent narrative on your characters part.

NullBlade sees them too, even if he technically doesn't remember anything from the previous world

Just a note on topic, Sanax doesn't actually see them. He is more sensitive to the Investiture of the Forgery acting up, but he doesn't see the creatures until everyone will.

I think we are chill with letting people discover things naturally. Last time we RP'ed a lot, the intro threads became a battle ground for offering cookies to other people. Unfortunately the Admins took notice and told us to stop, and keep things inside the subforum. So unfortunately thats what we gotta do now.

Side note: Cassie won't see them anymore because she got successfully reset/re-programmed/something.

Byron can see some of them; what I'm running with right now is a shadow monster tried to pull him into the forgery due to a slight variation (whether from overhearing Aln's questions or his Alley trips or his potentially worldhopper parents) but didn't fully succeed because of his self-stop trick. He doesn't remember exactly what happened and his 'weirdness' is more defined, but he also isn't mindwiped yet. But that's all mostly theoretical and can change if it messes with things. Cassie's directly involved now so Byron can be a bit indirectly so.

People tend to just browse the forum, and the RP section of the forum is pretty active. While its not everyone's cup of tea, I think there will be new members.

There's also a big problem of bloat, and gaining a ton of members really fast isn't ideal, it causes a lot of stress on the character approval system, as well as RPing. With 50+ people running around, trying to stay on top of things is difficult.

If you tell what it's about then I have a few character idea I was preparing for the next era that I could finish and make part of your guild.

STE is pretty much neutral. I haven't really decided. their goals are really convoluted. maybe give me some time to think up their goals and motivation and stuff.
