Proof: Symmetrical stuff is considered divine in the vorin religion, so that had to come from somewhere.

Theory: Adonalsium never shattered, instead, all the shards and planets are just her many dogs and cats and other pets.

Posted

Proof: Some of the Shards are Odium, Autonomy, Ambition, Dominion, Devotion and Ruin. These are obviously pet names. Seriously, what's more odious, autonomous, ambitious and dominating than cats? At the same time, what's more devoted and ruinous than dogs?

(I might've just made enemies with half the 17th shard with that comment...)

Theory: Brandon Sanderson does not actually exist. All of the books have actually been written by Hoid and anyone who has seen Brandon is actually just seeing Hoid with a Lightweaved disguise.

Proof: Hoid is the Doctor, who has many incarnations. Robert Jordan was the previous Doctor, Sanderson is the new one, but this means that Sanderson is not really Sanderson, but Hoid, all along.

THEORY: Eventually, all the weird moons in the Cosmere will be sucked out of their respective orbits and collide, forming a new Shard-level being.

It's the one type of apocalyptic even Sanderson hasn't written yet, so he clearly he was saving it for something big. Double points if they're suck out of orbit during Mistborn Era 4.

THEORY: Larkins are Dawnshards

Proof: She came from the same place as where Autonomy rules. She is very cosmere aware. And Autonomy impersonates people(pantheon gods) which in a sense since writers are considered god by their writing.

The logic lines up.

Theory:

The entire Hero of Ages prophecy was actually Ruin's plan and he's just making it look like Preservation won. Ruin is actually going to for the goal of wiping out cosmere not just Scadrial by hiding in plain sight/deceiving people into what's right just like how he got released in the well.

Proof: The words of founding say the following about Ruin: "Think rather of Ruin as intelligent decay. Not simply chaos, but a force that sought in a rational—and dangerous—way to break everything down to its most basic forms. Ruin could plan and carefully plot, knowing if he built one thing up, he could use it to knock down two others."

Theory: Adonalsium faked his own death

Proof: God cannot die, so if He seems to be dead, there must be some shenanigans involved.

Theory: Everyone on the 17th Shard will soon have an Ookla-based username.

Proof: Hoid is a strange egnimatic stranger who once said, "I would watch the whole world burn to get what I need, with many tears but yes" (or something like that idk) and what other cause could he want than instant noodles. And that's why he's hanging out on Roshar, because they are technologically advancing pretty well. Hoid will get his noodles no matter what!

Theory: Men aren't allowed to read on roshar because the lady who wrote that was trying to get back at her ex who loved reading.

Proof : Worse things have been done for love or heartbreak. Hell for even lesser reasons than that.

Theory: Women are also pideonholed into administrative and scholastic role while being restricted on the martial roles simply because some salty man lost to a girl in a fight ruled Alekthar and slowly changed it to the current Roshar

Proof: idk but this reminded my of Amaram and Jasnah and how she roasted him so hard that one time. Anyway, yeah unfortunately not everyone is an adolin, so you can bet some salty guy made women not allowed to fight.

Theory: Horses actually aren't native to the planet of Roshar.

Proof: this is probably actually true, I believe.

THEORY: One day, we will all say, "The WoB says it, I believe it, that settles it."

The shards are also based in a set of 16 like the allomantic metals, having 4 physical, 4 mental, 4 temporal, and 4 enhancement.

The 10 surges of roshar are actually 8 and combine much like a metal and its alloy to follow the same set of 16 mentioned in the previous sentence.

Theory: If you eat rosharan spheres, you will become radiant.

Proof: The Stormfather denies men can do this, so obviously you can - either because he was trying to hide how easy it is or because he was just WRONG (like how he told Dalinar he had Cohesion).

Theory: Brandon is Adonalsium reforged.

Theory: Brandon is Adonalsium reforged.

Proof: the Cosmere is the fantasy equivalent of the Dark Tower series. The author of those showed up in those as a pivotal character. Ergo, Brandon will show up in the Cosmere as a pivotal character. King was a representation of one of the Beams holding up the Tower so Sanderson will at least be a representation of a Shard. But since he'd be the Shard who created the Shards, he'd technically be Adonalsium in the same way that 0.99999999... = 1.

Theory: Lift is a Herald of Lift.

Theory: Lift is a Herald of Lift.

Proof:  Not only is Lift awesome, but she created a whole magic system based on her awesomeness.  A magic system only she can use.  Only a Herald could do such a thing, and she is too awesome to be a Herald for anyone else.

Theory:  Vin didn't actually go to the Spiritual Realm in Secret History, she just pretended to in order to give Kelsier the necessary push to do what he needed to do.

Proof: Sanderson is such a powerful writer (he has the equivalent of 16,000,000 LogoChromatic Breaths) that he has placed invisible spoilers in SECRET HISTORY that you have to click on with your finger to read, but only if you know they're there. But if you Intentionally click on the spoiler buttons in the printed book (while using Plagiary), secret passages will appear, explaining the truth of the story. So there's a second Secret History inside the first one, and in the second one it explains that Vin didn't actually go to the SR but just pretended to in order to give Kelsier the necessary push to do what he needed to do.

THEORY: It is possible to have a Breath level numbered using imaginary numbers.

Posted (edited)

Proof : Quite possible. Perception is a crucial part of all cosmere magic system after all. If one truly believes it can be numbered by imaginary numbers then so be it.

Theory: Marsh is really the Sovereign who made everybody except Harmony(and he went on with the deception) think he is Kelsier cause he simply wants to try out what was up with creating religions centered around oneself.

Proof:  The only evidence we have is a memory that seems to be from Kelsier's POV, but it came from Hoid, who is very specific about the fact that you cannot trust him.

Theory:  The Siah Aimian race is descended from a small population of immigrant Returned, hence their ability to change their bodies.

Proof: Edgli is interfering with Roshar via Nightblood, so why not via Returned also? Why else are there FIVE Ideals per Order???

THEORY: Tien was actually a Soother/Rioter, hence his ability to make Kaladin magically less depressed.

Heheh, we laugh but I actually do like to think she's responsible for the 5 Ideal Radiants development.

PROOF:  There is so much mineral content in the Highstorm rainwater he grew up on that he'd never know he needed metals.

THEORY:  With the right Command, you could use a Larkin to grow/incubate a single breath in power to rival a Divine Breath (this is an Alleyverse idea haunting the back of my mind).

Proof: The breath magic system is not fully explored even by the 5 immortal scholars. So who is to say what it is capable off. After all it managed to make something that worked similarly as hemalurgy(nightblood)

Theory: Lightweavers are just Kandra's pretending to be Knight Radiant cause they got scared of Ruin the last time he took control so they all fled to Roshar
