I was originally planning on actually going into the bar, but that seems like a bad idea right now.

Mace was annoyed. Word on the street was that one of his friends had been killed. No one had been able to tell him who did it, but he had his suspicions. Even though it wasn’t his usual style, he’d decided to avenge her. Violently.

Just walking into the bar seemed dangerous. So he chose the cowardly route, the way of the assassin. After some initial recon, he’d decided that the best vantage point was the warehouse across the street from the bar. He’d climbed to its second storey and opened one of the windows that had a clear view of the doorway. For the occasion, he’d borrowed a gun from the TUBA storehouse. It was a heavy weapon, a massive machine gun, so large Mace would have been unable to lift it without drawing on his reserves of strength. Guns like it normally used gravatonics, but that sort of technology was hard to come by, so Mace was stuck hefting it the old-school way. Settling into position, Mace checked the sight. He then carefully aimed it at the door. His finger rested calmly on the trigger. All he had to do now was wait. Enhancing his senses, he calmly listened to his surroundings and waited to strike.

I intend to leave him up there until things calm down. If he’s attacked, he’ll react. Other than that, he will lie in wait in his position until a Ghostblood (or any non-TUBA affiliated person) leaves the bar. When they do, he will shoot them dead. It would be hard to recover from a blast from a gun of the size he's weilding. Especially because no one knows he's there.

If someone loiters around the front of the bar (say by lying in pain after being thrown out the window) he might shoot them too. He may also shoot any GBs entering, he's not picky.

If someone walks into his sights, and I’m not around to post it, this is what I intend to post:

Spoiler

Mace saw the door open and a figure exit. He drew on mental and physical speed immediately. His enhanced eyes told him his target wasn’t one of his TUBA allies, and it was definitely not a decoy, so he decided to strike. With incredible speed, he pulled on the trigger, doubling his weight and strength to absorb the recoil. The gun fired with precision, sending a wave of bullets into his target. Mace didn’t stop until he had emptied the sizable clip. When he finally did, he pulled his gun from the window and fled with a burst of enhanced speed.

Elkanah drops from his perch, Tension still in his head. This place he had stumbled into was chaos. He couldnt un-grow things, that was for Skybreakers and Dustbringers. Hopefully the barman wanted some plants. They were a pretty species of rockbud.  He Slicked himself and slid back to the stool he was on earlier

The rock Elsecalled outside of the bar, hoping to avoid people stepping on it by accident.

Rashan puffed out, exhausted.

"Storm you all," he mumbled as he went and sat on a broken barstool. The bar was heavily destroyed, plants were everywhere and beer lay catatonic on the floor.

He'd just done his job. Sometimes people behaved violently to it. Oh well. It was the way of the Ghostblood. Things happened.

But at least he'd done his job.

Seeing the bartender was gone, Rashan stole another cup of root beer. He was probably going to be banned anyway.

So he drank, admist the aftermath of the chaos, he drank.

People have stopped fighting thanks to Solace, no ones really happy but I guess you could count ceasing fighting as calming down.

Ugh. I had a long epic post, with some quotes a strategy. But then I accidentally deleted it and I don’t care about rewriting it. So, to sum up. Yes Soul still needs to get a massacre out of his system.

Soul walked back in the bar, pulled out his swords and started attacking everyone in sight.

I'm scared of what's going to happen.

Mace spied the tiny rock. He drew on mental and physical speed immediately. I think I nailed this avenging thing. You kill Leya? I'll beat up a rock. Take that GBs!

Shelan heard the gunshot and reacted by downing a vial and shooting off of a coin after the fleeing assassin.

Thanks!

Rashan saw Voidus hanging outside the bar, staying still.

Voidus, he mentally pinged the rock. I get how you might not exactly be the most proud about my actions, but I assure you with my life it was the right thing to do. See? This sort of spontaneity is why I'm not a full Elsecaller yet. Here's hoping.

Besides, what are you doing outside of the bar anyway? Why are you just sitting there? D'you see anything? Mayb-

Rashan was interrupted by Soul attempting to stab him. Storms, again? Rashan sighed before throwing his drink at Soul, attracting his attention, before positioning himself so that he was between Soul and the door, hoping that the angered Soul would charge at him.

Mace came to a stop a few miles from the bar. As he caught his breath, he saw someone approaching. Worried, he raised his reloaded gun to ward them off.

Best statement ever

Evelyn forms a large sheild as Elkanah Slicks his back and slides out the door under her protective barrier. The rock was there, broken, in a pool of blood. Odd. He keeps sliding, following the man who left just before him.

The sound of a horn blowing was heard throughout the Alley, directionless and everpresent it blew a single, deep note.
A beam of light descended from the sky, one figure floating gently down within it before stopping just above Mace.

The figure clenched its gauntlet-clad fist as it arrived.

"Mace." The voice growled, low and threatening. "What have you done?"

Ok and now for what actually happens.

The rock watched the interior of the bar, waiting for the fight to die down when it heard Rashan speak to it.

Before it managed to reply it heard a series of loud blasting sounds from behind it.
The rock didn't feel the bullets hit it, it didn't really have nerves after all. It just saw its body crack apart as thousands of bullets collided with it. The ground around the rock exploded under the force, throwing up a cloud of dust.

Finally a large amount of Stormlight puffed out of the rock, a small pool of blood formed underneath it, and its spikes slowly clattered to the ground.

uh oh.

"Oh hey," Mace replied. "How's it going - um, God? Is that you? You're not still mad about the whole 'stealing your cookie recipe' thing are you, I mean it's been ag..." Mace trailed off as the figure glared at him.

"I'mreallysorrypleasedon'thurtmeitwon'thappenagain," he whispered, awestruck. Then he realized that pointing a gun at this thing wasn't going to help, so he sheepishly tried to hide it behind his back.

As he couldn't think of anything else to do, Mace offered the gauntleted man a cookie.

For clarification, Voidus didn't actually descend, I was just having some fun :P The spoilered section is what actually happened.

As he tried to get Soul ( @Life&Death ) to charge at him, Rashan idly looked out of the window to see Voidus in pieces, in a pool of blood. Without thinking what caused it Rashan ran out of the bar door, trying to put the pieces back together. No, no, no. Rashan was no healer. He killed. He didn't even know what the various healing magics were called. Chromium would not help this situation.

But it was too late. Something told Rashan that his master was dead. Bowing in respect, Rashan vowed to kill whomever had done this. And then he saw the spikes. The twin pieces of metal that gave Voidus his powers. Rashan held both in his hand, before pocketing them. Perhaps they would come in handy.

...so all that happened was a small rock was shot to death and the suspect ran away. That's tragic. -_-

But if it means Mace doesn't have to face The Gauntleted One, I'll take it! :D

Mace shook his head. He had to stop eating so much sugar, it was giving him hallucinations. Having cleared his head, he resumed his fleeing the scene of the crime.

Shelan walked over to Mace.

"I guess? That the rock, it survived...

Hi. My name is Sh- er, Kane."

Hearing the sound of rushing wind above him, Rashan looked up to see a man carrying an abnormally large gun jumping between rooftops, away from the dead rock. That gun... Yes. It seemed only it could do so much damage, so quickly. Cursing that he had had his Steel taken away, Rashan imprinted a mental image of the assassin. He couldn't believe his eyes.

Mace. A man Rashan had previously tried to assassinate, ran those rooftops, before he was out of sight. Right then, and there, Rashan realised something. His goal.

He'd failed to kill Mace once. He wouldn't fail a second time.
