Hoid did not appreciate this, for some odd reason. Likely because people already worshipped him.

Namely the ghanderflaffles.

The ghanderflaffles had recently been converted to worshiping Hoid.

This was done by the Breadmonks.

The handerfles were angry.

They thought that they were the ones who deserved to be worshipped by the ghanderflaffles.

So the Ghanderflaffles decided to worship no one because they didn't want to deal with arguments.

Narrator Ghanderflaffle went against her people and continued worshiping Hoid.

Unfortunately, this caused both the ghanderflaffles and handerfles to become extremely angry with her.

They became so angry, that they banished her from the Land of Ghanderflaffles.

She decided that she didn't like hiding and left after leaving a proper sacrifice of 10 pancakes for Hoid. Also because Yolen exploded.
