It was a very problematic predicament.

But first they sneezed.

So one of their amazing abilities was to smell so horrible to keep anyone 50 miles away.

Anyone except for humans, that is. Humans found the scent attractive.

Just like they liked peppers

It was indeed very problematic.

However, the plant that was destroyed by any given sneeze was the one farthest from that sneeze

So naturally humans hired full-time ‘sneezers’ to come live on their planets.

These 'sneezers' were...

The most deadly job position in existence. Fortunately none of them survived to complain about this.

For the Selffalfrednahgs got too close to the humans as plants started to run out

Suddenly, despite any precautions taken by the humans, a Selffalfrednahg sneezed.

This event preluded it's death and it fell over dead. The world cried...

“Owch”

[The Bookwyrm he/him]

And then a distant planet exploded.

For the world got allergies from exploding plant pollen.

I think someone accidentally typoed "planet" into "plant" and now we're talking about plants for some reason.

The planet that exploded was uninhabited, luckily. But unluckily, it was very close to the planet where the narrators were standing currently.

Unfortunately, they also like pretty explosions.

The fact that Narrators liked explosions made it far more likely for things to explode in TLT, because the Narrators could control what happened in TLT.

This was very unfortunate to those who weren't Narrators in TLT.
