"Shard School of Medicine, nice doctorate programs. Sophie, some day you're going to have to lead, and you won't be ready. This is good practice." FT swept his robe to the side and sat cross-legged on the white floor. "So, what's the plan?"

Sophie shrugged uncomfortably. "I mean... I know Xinoehp is on a mountain. And... that's basically it." She blushed. "Aqua's leading me there, I guess."

"Excuse me for a moment. " FT said, rising to his feet and cupping his hands around his mouth.

Sophie chuckled. "I think it's a place not you," she said. 

She looked at FT. "Shhh," she said. "Aqua gets worn out quickly." She rolled the little dim ball close to her and started stroking the sphere's surface. "She's kinda rude, but I don't think that's her fault. It must be hard not having limbs and a head... Or a body."

what I mean is that my sons and I can merge into ground on or near mountains, my sons through loose rocks, boulders, and the stone of the mountain, me anywhere, just, as my brother Tree and his sons with trees. Did you ever wonder why Stick's Narational power was stored in a tree?

Sophie giggled despite herself and ran her fingers over Aqua's smooth top. "She's got a personality, that's for sure," she said.

That plane had crashed into the side of a mountain (all the passengers miraculously survived).
