With his earnings he went into real estate. His company was known as Smelly Grouch Inc. They were the smelliest places in town. His slogan...

There was a great inking funeral, in which lots of ink was strewn about and there were many troubadours, including the well traveled, Dandelion. Ballades of @Inklingspren were sung, including, The Eternal Ink, The Whispers of the Kraken, and the most popular one, Swords of Ink.

A few notable other songs were: Calamari Inkantation, Ink Another Day, Fly Octo Fly, Turf Master, and most importantly, Nasty Majesty.

all real songs from splatoon. Boss themes and win/lose themes. Exept Nasty, that one is the trailer for the DLC

"Sprang forth from thy hand!

Ink, it splatters the pan!

Oh where, oh where is thy fan?

Twas, but an Ink-drop in the sand."

Sang Dandelion. Butt Venture and all the attendees cried for the loss of the great Inklingspren.

At last we meet, my so-called foe

But is our fate to spray this hate?

Perhaps we'll learn in depths below...

"...Deep down in the fathoms below,

We shall find a Kraken, mellow!

For he shall Ink upon our fellows!

And we shall all have great bellows!"

And people started to show pictures of the famous Inkspren. More weeping began, with even stranger ballades. Until Cthulhu intruded with terrible jealousy.

Ha, I'm terrible with poetry, so I could only think of so many words that rhymes with below.

Dandilion kept singing, oblivious to the kraken and Cuthulu.

Though parted by the ocean deep,

My oldest friend, we meet again.

I touch your face; you rouse from sleep.

With tresses pink and eyes a blank,

A smile so faint, it hides your feint,

You slip on past—outfoxed! Outflanked!

You paint the turf with graceful strokes.

With watchful eye, I breathe a sigh.

From sniper's perch, I go for broke.

The rolling column splatters all.

A stray shot shakes the trees awake.

The summer turns, here comes the fall.

You gaze seaward with azure hope.

Between each blink you calmly think,

As when you use a Splatterscope.

The world I knew seems like a trap.

I'm drawn now to the strange and new.

Would my old friends think me a sap?

Now nights grow long; summer abates.

The tides recede as squids stampede.

With fireworks, we celebrate.

Finality's not what it seems.

When your end comes, rise up and run.

Don't let defeat dissolve your dreams.

To plant a tree's its own reward

After you're gone, it will grow on

In memory, initials scarred.

Not everyone can be a scourge

In tense combat. I toss this splat,

A monument to my last surge.

Our sweat dripping from every pore.

The harsh, hot sun won't stop this run.

We grit our teeth and ask for more

I see you standing in the rain.

Within a storm—forever warm.

Powerful as a hurricane.

Constructed of glass and concrete,

A city stays in dull, drab grays

Till we splash color on its streets.

The tides go out and take the light.

How will I greet you when we meet?

It keeps me up on inkstained nights.

Your song inspired a blush of love.

It gave my heart a fresh new start.

Now I ascend to shores above.

I leave without ceremony.

Don't be too sore I wanted more.

My sincerest apology.
