Keke They/he Posted May 15 Posted May 15 4 hours ago, Aeoryi said: Ribbon shook her head. "I have never heard of an Author killing blade, aside from the fabled Ban Hammer- although we are not worthy enough to wield its power. I am talking about the Plotblade of Plot Significance, which was made by my creator around page 2540 to defeat Desolation." salt hummed. "I see. Where is it? If you have a plot blade then you should be able to summon it no?"

Through The Living Grub He/Him Posted May 16 Posted May 16 (edited) Skylight was sitting next to the fire, holding his Plotblade and staring at his namesake. He remembered the fiasco at the seminar a few weeks ago, the fierce battle and the spoils he gained. The fire danced in the darkness, providing much needed warmth. He had conquered his inner Voice, and he deserved that break. During that time, he had practiced with the Blade, trying to find the trait it embodied. For a while, it had been a fruitless endeavor. The legendary Blade was just a hunk of steel. Even when some bandits showed up, there Blade remained its useless form. Maybe he could find his friends again soon, and join them in combat once more. Hey! You caught me monologuing! Edited May 16 by Through The Living Grub 1

The legendary Blade was just a hunk of steel. Then some bandits showed up. It should have been an easy fight, but something weird happened. The blade flashed as Skylight parried his opponent. The other man’s sword caught his own in just the right way, injuring Skylights wrist. There was a quick follow up with the mordite blade from the seminar, but that was a strange coincidence. After some reckless adventures, Skylight decided on a name for his new Blade. Twist. Maybe he could find his friends again soon, and join them in combat once more. Hey! You caught me monologuing! Nameless never did give me the name of the Blade, so I’m just gonna run with this. I have an idea for a Plotblade. Nonvoluntary (for the characters, not the author), involving two people, preferably enemies. Also, Plot Twist is already a blade name, so I hope that’s not a problem. Maybe Neutral Party? Wins as long as it’s holder’s views fall between two other opponents?

He cracked a smile, and then stared directly into the soul of 9/10. 9/10 must make an intelligence saving throw. 9/10 nearly falls for it before he remembers he escaped a wizards of the coast worldline a long time ago and is no longer bound by that ruleset. He begins to compose a reply- wait. No. This won’t work out well. And it’s not his way. He remembers, in a world infected by creative entropy, the best way to kill a character is to leave it alone. And so he ignores the man, ignores the quest, ignores the world. A bubble of flawspace appears around Ribbon and himself, neutral space where mordite, luxite, prismite, and nullite don’t function. Curiously, an old door invades 9/10’s void.

"Won't work here, hun." The strange man said, "I constructed this dimension myself. I know it's boundaries." The door, of course, still remained. Edited May 16 by Aeoryi
Through The Living Star She/Her Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Is there any way I could get my character into something here? I haven't been able to do anything since Nameless stopped.
