She turned from mist to air and flooded over and into Ribbon's body, looking for the small core. There were a bunch of assorted people on the cliff. Is just the current group that I've been writing in the past few pages Alli, a young woman by the cliffside, frowned and waved, unable to see him clearly through the trees just yet. She frowned and leaned away, unsure she wanted to listen to the creepy man. Ribbon tried to relax, trying not to interfere with what Fog was doing. Surely enough, there was the small core in her chest, closer to the sternum.

He thought. 9/10mmHB#2 rolls out of Fog’s grasp. He won’t try killing her, the Futility of Language is so sharp that it cuts through reality itself unless your Intent changes its target. Even then, he doubts it would be able to cut something made of mist. Instead, as he is dumped into a pile of ribbons meant to hinder him, he cuts through reality twice, falling feet-first in the middle of the group. The sword was always meant to listen to him. He draws the pen- Spoiler No! Inkwell screams, pushing back at 9/10mmHB#2. He manages to take control for an instant, throwing the pen off the cliff. Then 9/10 takes control- The pen flies out of his hand, into the sea below. 9/10mmHB#2 curses.

The Futility of Language, a sword too sharp to actually be useful in combat. 9/10mmHB#2 isn’t much of a threat here, he has zero powers, some makeshift armor, and a sword that really isn’t very practical in combat.

Verdance he/him Posted February 1 Posted February 1 (edited) 3 minutes ago, Through The Living Glass said: oop okay then huh okay What does the pen that Fog caught do? XD You'll have a lot of fun here in TLT The pen is the real “weapon”. When drawing something that actually exists, it temporarily steals the soul of that object and replaces the drawing with it. Then the drawing peels off the notebook for the artist to command. It can’t copy anything massive or anything like a Plotblade, though Plagiarism will be able to do that later (oop secret). Also, when drawing something from the author’s imagination, the thing drawn does not disappear. Futility was made using the pen, by 9/10, and it responds better to him. Ribbon's awareness, in turn, decreased significantly. Up to you what that looks like.

He was a bit over random authors throwing animals at him and teleporting him to have cryptic conversations. If this was a story, his was not about to end here. Alli didn’t seem to notice Rebus. She had frozen completely, but Inkwell decided if he was going to have a character flaw it would be self preservation over selflessness. He had to act quickly, before Rebus could respond. So he took out his notebook, and drew Rebus’ armor. A quick and dirty sketch that immediately stole the soul of the object, drawing it into the notebook, while the real armor transformed into ink, which Inkwell directed with a flick of his thoughts. Hold him. Buy me time. The picture of the armor in the notebook was already fading. Inkwell unsheathed the sword, and cut a rift, leaping through. Rebus was abruptly covered in ink, the plot progressing too fast for him to escape before it was gone again and he had his armor back. Except... there was one line left in the notebook, a tiny piece of the drawing that refused to fade. Nothing more, of course - Rebus had too many things to do to be interrupting an active battle. 3 hours ago, Keke said: elinore nodded. "Sometimes i think im insane. Large crowds stress me out. Others were her and symbol. One was a wedding day, rebus in a nice white suit, symbol in an elegant dress. Perfect. her bed sat in a corner with a stuffed animal but not much else. A desk was opposite of it with notes scattered around. - he scoffed. "Its a long story, but I dont want fear. Actually, I dont want any of this." - Hawks sighed. "I fear, I need alot, but none if it is stuff you can help with. Hell half of the reason i even am here, or anywhere is to escape said things." He thought for a second. "I suppose thats why I like you so much. You've do everything to make a mark, be someone important, and to be remembered. Fearing being forgotten. I do the same thing." - she nodded. "You said it yourself we are fictional character. Can we really feel much of anything." Rebus nodded, and Elinore could feel him recall a similar emotion. "I have magical senses too - not for feelings, but events. I might be able to help you, though it's not quite the same thing and you should never trust me all the way." - Rebus sighed, smiling at the pictures. He waited, fairly certain that Rebyl would tell him what she needed. - Rebus smiled. "I can take it. 'May I have your name' and all that lets me make bargains paid with abstract concepts." - "I'll be here." Rebus smiled. "Relatable, escapist, interesting - and evil, of course." - "We can." Rebus smiled, glad to have a chance to explain this once more. His Author really needed to get on that metafictional philosophy essay. "It's thanks to empathy and method acting. Fully written characters have personalities - the Authors, or at least mine, imagine simulations of us; think our thoughts and feel our feelings." 1
