The Sighs were formed to combat the Sith.

In all, they were confusing.

Before they killed the dragon and got its impeccable money-making ring. Then they made perfect cents.

But that was unrelevant.

Because the Tearsmith Collective was forming.

Flash forward to an arbitrarily long time later, when the Tearsmith Collective had become corrupt.

But flash back in a confusing way and we have a period where the world is going to be destroyed by a being from the Zorth axis.

But the Tearsmith collective, led by Kurucu, was determined to stop them.

Them failing to stop this being was actually how they became corrupt.

Their alliance with the creature brought the Tearsmith Collective much information and power, but also doomed the rest of the universe to dominion by The Being.

The few remaining uncorrupt Tearsmiths knew that their only salvation was to leave this universe and enter another.

They created a bubble of tears to travel.

The tiny hats were attracted to the tears.

All of the so called "tiny hats" that the tears had drawn in could probably be sold to start out in the new universe the Tearsmiths were traveling to.

This, of course, was the ultimate plan.

And so the Tearsmiths left their universe to begin anew. They carried with the greatest treasures of their order: The sound of their creator's weeping, the last tear of Kurucu, and a scale from the hide of Zyria.

They settled on a peaceful planet, and over the generations, a thriving civilization came into existence. While history turned to legend and religion, they still held fast to their relics, and the secrets of Tearsmithing. Young children who showed proficiency, those who were called by the relics, were taught the art from their early childhood how to use Tearsmithing to help society.

Eons passed, and eventually the old universe was completely forgotten, save for a few whispered memories known only to the high council of Tearsmiths.
