The Bookwyrm he/him Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Bookwyrm screamed in pain and collapsed.
The Wandering Wizard he/him Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 A Ghanderflaffle came and said hello, the ghanderflaffle way.
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Bookwyrm was too busy falling unconscious to notice.
The Wandering Wizard he/him Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 It rubbed against him, it's scales flaying his flesh.
EmulatonStromenkiin he/him Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 The Ghanderflaffle liked having flesh, so it stopped rubbing against Bookwyrm's scales.
NameIess Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 The last thing Bookwyrm saw before falling unconscious was the mysterious attacker fading back into the shadows, sword dripping blood.
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Another mysterious figure appeared and took Bookwyrm away.
The Wandering Wizard he/him Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 He gave him to the shard of whimsy to heal him.
NameIess Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Whimsy got bored halfway through healing Bookwyrm, so he became stuck in a state of half-consciousness.
The Wandering Wizard he/him Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 It was almost as excrusiating as existing from a hivemine, after never having thought at all.
NameIess Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Bookwyrm was lucky to have gained such a state of enlightenment, gaining knowledge that no one had ever gained before. Such as the meaning of the word ‘excrusiating’
The Wandering Wizard he/him Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 It was far more painful and powerful than the plain, old, boring, 'excruciating'.
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Bookwyrm narrated his pain away and began to heal fully.
The Wandering Wizard he/him Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 He would never forget the pain, it would still haunt him at times.
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Bookwyrm stood up and looked around. Where am I now? he thought. I need to find Eof....
NameIess Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 He was standing in an empty room, utterly devoid of anything.
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Bookwyrm cautiously began to explore the room.
ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 While it seemed that it was empty, there was actually a two-legged stool in one corner. It didn't seem very important though.
NameIess Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 The stool held the secrets of the universe, but it had long ago given up hope that anyone would notice it.
ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 It was quite sad. It now spent its days in the "empty" room playing solitaire.
ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 (edited) Indeed. It's time was spent more like this. 50%: Playing solitaire. 25%: Crying because they always lose solitaire. 24%: Crying because they were so lonely. 1%: Crying in frustration when adventurers passed it by, and didn't unlock it's secrets. Since it couldn't speak, it couldn't tell anybody about the secrets it contained. Edited October 6, 2022 by Sequence
NameIess Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 And since there was nothing besides the stool in the room, it even had to imagine the solitaire deck.
The Wandering Wizard he/him Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 The stool also played poker.
