"Why wouldn't I? It's such a wonderful way to narrate." Nameless pooled some black ooze into his hand, holding it out. "Do you want to try it? you'll soon see how amazing it is. How liberating."

"Hmm..." Szeth said.  "Nah, it's just not for me."

"Strikethrough is the new highlight." A random speck of dust proclaimed.

"Hey X," Szeth said, who was sitting with Unintelligible in the bunker and playing games on his phone, "You can stop with the whole 'corruption' plotline now. I think the rest of us are over it." He gestures to @Ookla the unintelligible.

Nameless appeared next to Szeth, Unintelligible and the bunker fading away. "If you truly are tired of the corruption, then stop it. You are a narrator, are you not? You are limited only by the rules you place upon yourself." He gestured to the broken world around them. "Will you reforge this world? Will you forget that this ever happened? Will you force me to be as I once was? What rules will you be bound by?" He smiled "If you choose to fix this with a snap of your fingers, I will not stand in your way. Others might, but I will step aside."

Szeth sighed, ate a skittle, and stopped the corruption permanently, banning X from the thread. “There, happy?”

Little did he know, the skittle that Szeth had eaten has been ć̵̯ȯ̸̞r̵͖̅r̴̬̽ư̴͈p̶̜̃t̸̮͠ë̴̤́d̷̟͋.

“Hey,” Szeth said indignantly, “I said no more of that. I expected this of X, but not from you, Sequence!” He banned Sequence and ate another skittle.

Sitting in the ban-prison, Sequence promptly cried.

Nameless looked around at the revived world, filled with joy and randomness. "Interesting. So very interesting." He vanished into shadow.

“Ahh,” Szeth said. “That’s nice, isn’t it, Unintelligible?”

"Hm? what was nice? Why are you in my bunker. Wait, why am I in my bunker? There's nothing to hide from."

Szeth ate a skittle and grinned.

Unintelligible shrugged, then opened the blast door of his bunker, wandering out.

Right outside the bunker stood the physical embodiment of the ban-prison, where Sequence sat without their narration powers, crying.

Nameless appeared next to Sequence. "You accept this banishment. Why?"
