The ooklas swarmed over the sickened populace, converting all in their path to ookla.

The universe was ookla. It was good. Everything was good.

[Truthless of Shinovar he/him]

Ookla the Semi-Here also celebrated the arrival of the Ookla season. He did so by reviving the CANDY WARS!

he was promptly hit on the nose with a piece of chocolate

Which promptly ate his nose.

Then promptly spit it back out when the piece of chocolate remembered it was allergic to noses.

Truthless’s nose sneezed. And then it ate the chocolate.

The chocolate managed to climb back up Truthless's nose's throat.

So Truthless swallowed his nose and the chocolate before it got away. He gulped it down, nauseated. Why did his nose taste like steel wool?

(It tasted like that because of an accident during Truthless’s childhood.)

It was an embarrassing story.

But what is this? The story has suddenly transformed into present tense!

Only it has transformed not into present tense, but actually past perfect tense.

On the third day of the peachy weather, the rain changed from peach-scented, to cabbage-scented. There was much vomiting.
