The Stormfather then ate the leopard

I only clawed Mraize's face because Mraize tried to eat me.

The stormfather failed to eat the leopard because the stormfather was a spren.

The leopard backed away from Mraize and glared and growled.

Sorry. Panther and leopard are (as far as I can tell) sometimes used to describe the same animal. Only difference is that leopard refers to Panthera pardus, while panther can (technically) mean anything in the genus Panthera.
