"We have to rescue her." He spoke quietly, yet with determination.

but he quickly loses his will to do so

"Help," he gasped to Song. "Help..."

"What? What's happening? Can I help? Oh, I'm so much worse at this than Melody!" Song comes to her knees next to X's avatar.

He looked helplessly at Song. "Do you have any ideas?"

"You mean the one who just took Melody? Well, we could jump off and run in that direction. We'd probably eventually find them. Other than that, no. Although, if she took Melody, she's probably going to use her for something, right? Something involving us, or you, because you fought her? If we can't find her, maybe she'll find us." Song looked down at the bottom of the hot air balloon basket.

X's avatar was quiet as he digested this.

"Well," he said, "I suppose we might as well try to follow."

Carefully he nudged the winds to carry them in that direction.

Song gasped. "You can control the winds? I wish I had known that! So, what happened last time you fought her? Also, what's her name? What's your name?"

King didn't know what was going on, and didn't care. He hung up a flyer he had gotten from an imterdimensional portal to the alleyverse.
