Reading realized he was terrible at spelling and left to go on a crusade to find the mantle of good spelling.

After writing was found Reading planned to follow them everywhere consuming what they produced at prolific speeds.

Then, Elsecaller reminds Reading that Writing was held by Mr. Sanderson and we all were already doing this.

Unfortunately that statement was not cannon because elsecaller had not bolded it so reading continued trying to find writing until it was cannonized.
