Fun fact. Humans don't sink in lava (unless thrown in with considerable force) instead bouncing/floating on top of it. So there's actually a chance Nighthound could survive a vulcano, depending on some details and the initial dip not killing him.

Day 1 - Peaceful Celebrations

And then Nighthound died.

Day 1 has begun! It will end in roughly 48 hours.

Michael Jaeger (Nighthound) was lynched! He was a Serial Killer with the Epic powers of Regeneration, Super Strength, and Specialized Gifting. Balelight has declared a day of celebration! There will be no kill or lynch today. However, any other actions or abilities may be used as normal.

A note on gameplay:

All players may take exactly one action per cycle, unless otherwise noted. Voting is not an action, however, using any other ability is. All items or powers require an action to use, unless explicitly noted as granting a passive effect.

A rough order of actions is given as follows:

Roleblocks, Protection, Item Manipulation, Role/Alignment Scans, Kills, Action Scans

Well, now that the precedent for totally invalid votes is set, Seonid.

So I haven't received any PM, and maybe I'm missing something, but I'm guessing that we just say what we want to do for our actions? Because if Nighthound is dead, that means there's probably a bunch of lesser epics/criminals looking to fill the sudden power vacuum. So as the hero that Falchion is, he'll be patrolling and basically targeting whoever he wants or annoys him and taking them out in the name of justice.

Which makes everything A-OK.

Oh, and he's targeting the homeless shelters first. They're technically stealing food, power, and other resources from other people. So he's going to go and bring some justice on them.

Speaking of role PM's, how do PM's work in blackout games? Are they allowed? Is it a PAFO thing? Should I just try to PM someone and see what happens?

Sorry for seeming impatient then. I thought this game was up at 5 am this morning (my time, approx 6 hours ago) and I have been forgotten in PMs before, or had them sent to the wrong person. Just rechecked the time and it says it was up an hour ago, so I was a bit hasty on that one.

Also I'm a padawan now? Do I get the braid or the lightsaber or the robes?

That's why you read, kids. That's also why you are probably on this fansite.

But does that mean there are roles that allow you to pass items? Why would that person want to pass items? Are there detrimental items. like bombs? Or trackers? Or is there a role with an alignment that requires the player to give away all of his/her items (and there are like ten)?

I'm just blindly speculating, because that's what you do in blackout games.

Well it's been about an hour since the last post, so there is now a homeless shelter with a bunch of dead bodies in it somewhere.

Next up Falchion is off to find some robbers cluttering up the city and help them out. With justice! And then take all their loot because to the victor goes the spoils, right? It's just more justice.

And then maybe he'll go rob a museum or two for their antique swords. Because he needs them. For justice and stuff.
