There's a parasite in the Zeta world that can give people cool powers but also make them become a bit more unstable. The parasite is obsessed with Zimmy so maybe that's something. See here.

Mhm. So like, it's probably a random ability but they lose their wincon and their new one becomes "keep Zeta alive" or something.

yeah ok the ability thing is a stretch but the wincon thing is possible.

But if MEB was behind this, it certainly made things less boring. But why? What is the benefit of that? Could MEB have influenced the disproportionate amount of Woodslanders sent to the nightmare realm?

I don't think so. I think they can only effect one thing.

Zeta was random, though, so you're right that there's not much point discussing it.  They'll come back (or not) and it won't affect us for this turn.

Then again, it's night, there's not that much else to talk about at the moment.

Could they have targeted the woods, say, "five people will be sent to the nightmare realm", triggering the Zeta ability as a result of that?

We can be sure that one of the people sent is the Zeta, though.

A lot more than 5 people went to the negative dimension. 

Given how many people went, I would say there are probably good odds not everyone will be coming back.

Actually, this was discussed in the main thread. The MEB can give guidelines, but can't say "everyone" or "5 peeps from Woods and 2 from Court". For example: "More people from Woods than from Court are affected" but "2 Court people are affected"

You’re not the only one! Other people might have used that as their example, but it’s amazing.

I did not see the discussion about the MEB affecting the numbers for the Zeta ability (the rules just say random number), so that’s interesting and maybe good. Disappointed they got so many from the Forest, intentionally or not.

What we should really be worried about is how the new alignment will affect the game. It is not given, but with that many people gone, its highly likely that someone will be converted to the weird alignment.

Anyways, @Orlok Tsubodai I was trying to copy/paste where you tagged me last night about stuff....so I'll just reference it. First off, you said I was still voting Ecth when I had removed that vote 45 minutes before you posted that and I had voted on Clanky instead (who we totally could've lynched instead btw ) not gonna lie.....super bummed that Ecthelion is out of the game.

You also asked what were my thoughts now on Drake and Clanky I had already answered that as well....I think Drake is village and Clanky a possible elim....hence my vote on him.

Sorry if this post sounds hostile lol....I'm just really bummed out that my bff died and I can't play with him anymore.

Okay so sometime today I'll try to get up that analysis I mentioned at the end of last cycle. 

We probably should get a new medium now since ours might come back a serial killer or something xD haha (who knows what lies in that zone) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ok i have finally compiled some analysis on the Court. 

I have village reads on Brightness, Rand, and Burnt, based on PMs. 

I have neutral reads on Crimsn, drought, meta, Shqueeves, and araris. 

My main elim read right now is Drake. His posts seem off to me. 

So yeah, currently no hard evidence of anyone being village or elim. But I'm trying to look closer at the thread, so these initial reads may change. 

Second off, I would like to put myself up as a potential candidate for Medium in case Stink doesn't return. Stink is great, but if he dies, we're going to need a new medium. I already tried to run for Medium in the forest thread, and it went alright. But I forsee a major complaint about me running for medium: the possibility of me being an elim. A hard, 40% possibility.

This is a legitimate concern, so I'm going to address it before actively pursuing the medium role (only if Stink dies). It is not a 40% chance that I am elim at any moment. It was after I died that it became a roll of the dice whether i became village or elim in the court thread. Furthermore, 60% is bigger than 40%. And now, in this moment, I am 100% village. Not 60% village and 40% elim. So if you are going to address the concern that I might be elim, please come up with actual evidence, rather than the percent chance that I might be eliminator. If you genuinely think my tone is off, or I know who's good and evil, or I'm just acting evil, go ahead and lynch me. But just like the people that will come back from the negative dimension, there was a chance that I turned alignments. Just like I hope you will give me, I will be giving them the benefit of the doubt. Just because they could be an elim or evil neutral, doesn't mean they are. 

If Stink does return, you may fully ignore this intent. I don't plan on going for Medium if he comes back. But I will if he doesn't. I hope you'll give me the chance to make a difference in the Court.

Hmmm hello everybody.

A few things to say, I guess...

First of all, I wanted a tie  what did you guys go breaking it for. Ecthelion wasn't even evil.

Second of all. Orlok. Doc12 confirmed STINK's win con? Must have missed that. My bad. Please do not get the idea that I seriously wanted to lynch a medium. That would be a poor life decision. What I said was "if y'alls are sure that the eliminators wanted the medium position, well... one thing logically follows." Personally, I don't think the eliminators did want the medium position.

Third of all. Zeta. What have you done??  This is going to be interesting.

Some of those folks aren't coming back... And some of them are coming back... Different.

Guess there's not much for it but to wait and see.

I think I might have been planning on saying something else, but I've forgotten it, so I'll get back to you on that.
