Well, if you think Leto is disturbing, think about this: people find a psychopath (that randomly maims, tortures and kills for the lols) charismatic. Who's the real Clown Prince of Crime monstrosity? Not I. Not...I...

Still think the less Leto is in the movie, the better.

There are good and bad kinds of disturbing, Leto is the latter.

Nothing is wrong with being entertained by dark things.

I just hope that it'll turn out like it was with Heath Ledger and the whole "he can't play the Joker".

Leto, ultimately, can not get into the mind of a psychotic. He certainly understands some generalities, but nothing really specific. So when he tries things or says things he believes are psychotic, it comes off like a poorly socialized kid trying to sound tough: it rings false.

And that's why he's not a writer! He does not determine what the joker says or does, he'll just try to bring it to life.

Speaking opsychotics and sounding fake: what's the deal with the author of the article being upset with Leto for eating cookies?

No idea. I gathered that she disapproved of him being a cheating vegan, but you'd think she'd be more upset about the salmon thing.

(Quoted before typing bc my kindle made a mistake)

We take them on shows and on tours. They're nonreleasable and are used to being around people.

@Kestrel Aww, Beaker's adorable. I love hearing Barred Owls in the wild--their "Who-cooks-for-you?" call is thrilling! Does Beaker have an injury that would keep him from surviving in the wild?

Meanwhile on the other side of the pond Burger King is the best thing I have.

Don't you have any smaller burger places around? Because I agree you can't eat at those.

I'm reading the linked article now, and it's not allaying my fears.

Would Leto commiting a crime that actually gets him put in prison be the best or worst case scenario?

Is it possible to see more than the top 5?

Hrm. I'm not sure if it is possible.  There doesn't seem to be an option to view all, and if there is i dunno where it is :[

It is possible to see TOP 25: here

Unfortunately, if I try to make this list longer it goes back to TOP 5. You'd have to add some HTTP GET parameters for paging I guess to see next pages.

Dear diary: yesterday I had to run a 5k cross country course, subsequently died and have spent the entirety of my day barely able to walk as my legs are cramped beyond all repair. To summarise: I am finding my education to be satisfying and rewarding to my mind and body

He has feathers missing on one wing. He was rehab but they never grew back, so he's with us now. He's been there a few years. Birds of prey are really great because they're super smart. Most don't like being around people but Beaker and the other wild ed birds know that humans give them food and the like so they aren't very stressed. Same thing with falconry. The birds used to hunt are usually trapped wild animals but they stay with their handlers because the handler provides them food; some even come back after being released! Its super neat.

Heh.  Yeah, he's not the first, and I'm sure he won't be the last.

I had a desk. It was a nice little desk in the corner of the room.

Then a new coworker moved into the desk next to mine. As of yesterday, he's begun sitting in my chair, despite his desk having both plenty of room and a wall jack (which I assume is the reason why he's been taking my chair). This makes it awkward to get to my stuff, as I put it in the drawer by my chair.

So I moved. I'll miss the computer at my old desk, but I didn't use it much anyway.

Better solution: politely point out that he is stealing your chair and you would like it back, please. :P
