Straw he/him Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 This is meant to be like the "If You Were A Epic" thread. In this thread you can post any ideas for weird epic powers. Here are mine: Whale summoning. Probability switching (1/100,000,000 chance that a bullet will turn into a puppy, after power is used: 999,999,999/100,000,000 chance that bullet will turn into a puppy.) Broccoli manipulation. Fred manipulation (you can control people named Fred.) Weight gaze (the longer you stare at something the heavier it gets.) Post your ideas! 3
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Fred manipulation (you can control people named Fred.) I don't think this Fred would like that. 2
Voidus Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 I really want to participate here but I have a few years headstart on this topic and if I did I think I'd need a few dozen pages for all of my posts. I shall stick to getting some amusement from other peoples for now then.
Straw he/him Posted April 24, 2016 Author Posted April 24, 2016 (edited) More ideas: Fart manipulation. Meme creation. Ability to turn things into Mountain Dew. Ability to bring things from video games into real life. Giant pug creation. Edited April 24, 2016 by ThatTinyStrawMan 2
Arraenae Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 The ability to manipulate ink on any surface. Great for vandalism and death threats, but horrible for combat. 1
Kobold King he/him Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Epic Name: Foxtrot Power: Full nervous control over people's legs. Not their entire bodies; just their legs. Uses this power to make people tap dance, mostly, but occasionally works as an enforcer for more powerful Epics by making them kneel. Surprisingly useful in combat; it's hard to aim a rifle or a blast of pyrokinesis when your legs want to swivel your body around in the other direction. Appearance: A very short, frail-looking person with glasses and an inhaler. The last person you'd expect to become a sadistic serial tap-dance enforcer. (Granted there probably aren't a lot of people you would expect to become sadistic serial tap-dance enforcers, but I'm sure they're out there.) Weakness: Unbeknownst to most people, Foxtrot was paralyzed from the waist down before Calamity. He walks now only by the use of his powers; he's actually gotten so good at it by this point he doesn't even have to think about it. Handicap signs remind him, however, and cancel out his abilities. I can't resist coming up with characters around the powers. 12
Oversleep Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 KNEEL BEFORE FOXTROT!@Kobold, I like this character very much. He can literally make people dance with Death. It seems that Foxtrot is a choreomancer 2
Mr. Staccato he/him Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 (edited) More ideas: Fart manipulation. Meme creation. Ability to turn things into Mountain Dew. Ability to bring things from video games into real life. Giant pug creation. Awesome! If that power should ever belong to someone, it should belong to the one and only Mr. Staccato! If you need proof, one need only refer to my member title. Anyway, example weirdo abilities: The ability to convert latent soundwaves into specific fragrances. (Kinda like Dazzler from X-men but instead of sound to light, it's sound to smell.) The ability to turn your thoughts into text messages. The ability to control other people's facial expressions. (World's most useless superpower if you ask me) The ability to permanently modify the meaning of a word from the collective mind of humanity. (Basically the world is your wiktionary.) Patrick Star Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 I'm ModderMan. I'm able to create and install mods of all kinds on anything from cars to videogames. Mostly Skyrim. But other stuff, too. However, excessive microtransactions or just straight up awful videogames nullify my lowers.
Bluest she/her Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 stupid ideas: 1) the ability to turn all things backwards. 2) the ability to turn into a tree. 3) the ability to become a statue 1
Bluest she/her Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 TwiLyghtSansSparkles I was instantly an your friend after you said that. I was thinking the same thing. 1
Alfa he/him Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Symmetry Man: All things are at least slightly asymmetrical. Symmetry Man hates this. When he feels like it, he can make everything exactly symmetrical. Near things are easiert to change than far, small easier than big. Living things are immune. This power is kind of a prime invincibility, since it's difficult to shoot with a perfectly symmetrical gun with two stocks and no opening. Offensively the power is used to make unexpected things like shoes or knives symmetrical to cause pain or, in lucky situations, death. Weakness: mirrors. The enforced symmetry of mirrors irritates Symmetry Man that much, that he loses his powers for a short time. 1

A rifle would be almost perfectly symmetrical unless there's carvings or flashlight or laser sights or something. 1

But as I said, a gun with two stocks or two grips would be even more symmetrical. 1

M-botstan13 Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 Tiny weather. You can create tiny thunderstorms, tornadoes, clouds, snow- all in the palm of your hand. But nothing larger that 6 inches in diameter 1
Karger he/him Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 (edited) The ability to open doors with your mind. Not fences. Just doors. Cave man skills. You know all the edible grasses and how to hunt mammoths. An old favorite of mine. Glowing in the dark. Edited January 26, 2020 by Karger 1
BeaverBuster Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 The ability to think of a book's title and author, and know where every copy is over the entire world.

EmulatonStromenkiin he/him Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Horrible allergies: when you sneeze, you teleport to a random non-deadly place, causing a blast of energy in the location you left that vaporizes nonliving material in a 5ft sphere. 1

FlowerGirl she/her Posted August 29, 2022 Posted August 29, 2022 Changing the color of your hair at will. Glowing snot. Super fast growing fingernails and hair. Being able to start/stop hiccupping, crying, laughing, coughing, sneezing, etc. at will

Being able to start/stop hiccupping, crying, laughing, coughing, sneezing, etc. at will Just so you know, if nobody has posted in a thread for a long time, it's probably better that you leave it alone. But, since you did, I will offer my own thoughts. The ability to have background music that plays as part of your life. The ability to grow hats instead of hair on your head. The ability for this thread to remind me of Alcatraz. Having telekinesis, but only have it work on macaroni elbow noodles, and not ones that have been eaten already. 1
