Young Bard he/him Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 (edited) Works fine for me on Chrome on Windows 10. I have Version 51.0.2704.103 m... That narrows it down a fair bit, I'd think. By the way, I've moved again according to your text. (I was in Campbelltown area, then up in North Sydney area, and now I'm in Concord. Which is closer, but still not where I actually live. Mestiv he/him Posted July 9, 2016 Author Posted July 9, 2016 I'm trying to figure out why for some of you it doesn't work. It's strange that I don't have any errors logged except just the fact, the server returned HTTP 500 :/ I hope I'll figure it out soon enough...

I wonder if there could have been some change to the WebKit used in the most recent releases of Chrome/Opera?
Eki Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 For the record, it doesn't seem to work for me on Firefox. Neither in Windows or Ubuntu. I think it worked early on, but then quickly stopped.
Wychmire he/him Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Hmm. Odd... It works on my computer. It works on the iPad. But it doesn't work on my Kindle. Maybe it doesn't work on certain Operating Systems? While using my Kindle it says Sig.svg

Haelbarde he/him Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 I notice that your sig is now working properly again - anything you did?

Stormgate he/him Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 I'm on an iPad, and it seems that the iPad has issues with cookies. I'm often having to type in the password for the White Sand forum. Oh well, at least my iPad is DA proof.

Oversleep Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 Yeah, it sees my name and takes suggestion to sleep over the problem of learning it xD 2

If you want to to learn your name really fast, just refresh this page a couple of times. It just needs to successfully associate you with a request 10 times to decide you are you. There is one session associated with you that viewed the signature 6 times, so you're not that far

DrakeMarshall he/him Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Well. This is pretty impressive. You made a dynamic signature with a server running python. I approve.
Mark IV he/him Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Ooh! It learnt my name... I'm not sure why, but I'm feeling childishly giddy now...

Can you make it so you have to enable it first, instead of having to disable it? Like someone has to click on it to let it know it's OK to track this user? That's possible I think, but I don't know when I''d have the time to implement it.

Like when I saw it, I thought everyone was seeing my information blasted all out of the internet. Which was weird. It's totally secure, though. A little disconcerting to look at, but it doesn't store the information at all.
