I'm guessing someone was converted via spiking, or there's a serial killer.

Anyone who voted for that person. Having slept does not matter in this case.

Ok, here's the full breakdown on what happens to items.

You search for items.

You find items.

You use items.

If you die or are lynched, you lose your items.

Whoever killed you or someone who voted for you gets them.

You can pass items to someone at night who is in the same area as you, and it does not take an action.

You can pass items during the day to anyone who has a vote on you at the end of the day. It does not take an action.

Laurelin heard a knock on the door. Rusts. It was almost sunset. She'd already told Tilion she was going to bed. What did he want with her now?

She reluctantly got up to open the door. An enormous wave of glitter hit her full in the face. While her mouth was open.

She coughed, trying to spit out the acrid taste of the glitter. "Why? Who-"

Twin laugher met her splutterings. She managed to clear out her eyes, and saw Jala and Verre standing there and giggling, each holding the corners of a now-empty bag, except for a few traces of glitter caught in the fabric.

"Jala. Verre. I never would have guessed,” she said.

They giggled again, then ran away laughing, trailing glitter.

She sighed, and went to run a bath to get the glitter out.

Day 6 - Stay Alive

Verre skipped down the street away from Jala with a parting wave, happy with the night’s work. Laurelin’s expression had been hilarious.

She stopped, though, when she heard a weak voice coming from an alley. “Verre...”

She would know that voice anywhere. That was Kae!

She rushed into the alley, heedless of her own safety, and found him, tied to the wall and bleeding heavily. “Kae! What happened? What’s going on?”

He blinked at her. “Verre... why are you... covered in glitter?”

She choked back a laugh. “I glitterbombed Lady Laurelin.”

He quirked up an eyebrow.

“Oh, shut up and tell me what happened!”

“Spikes... so many spikes... But I’m no Twinborn, Verre, you know that.... So they left me... left to die... alone... but now... Verre...”

She let out a sob, tears sparkling with glitter running down her face. “Who? Who did this to you?” She shook her head. “No. That can wait until you’re better.” She drew on her copperminds, searching. Science... Medical Knowledge... Injuries... Serious wounds...

“No,” she gasped. “No, no, no, you have to live. Kae, you have to!”

He stared at her sadly. Then his expression changed to panic. “Verre, run!”

She whirled around, but that wasn’t enough to stop the spike that now held both of their bodies together.

“I’m sorry...” Kae whispered. “I’m sorry I wasn’t a better brother...”

But Verre was already dead.

And then, so was Kae.

Jala was devastated. She had gone home that night happy. She and Verre had had so much fun. But this was not what she had ever imagined waking up to. Verre had been murdered on her way home. Kae too. why.... why did it have to be them... Jala slumped down against the nearest wall and broke down into tears. No, no, no, no, no... She tried calming herself down but it didn't work.Then she had a thought. She stood up and stormed over to Silas. "You!" she jabbed a finger at him "You knew where she was and what she was. Did you have anything to do with this. DID YOU KILL MY FRIEND?" She seized the front of his shirt, glaring at him with a mixture of despair, anger and confusion.

Yes. Except your original aPower. You'd be a double savant in that.

Ok, so I guess I'm leaning towards lynching Burnt. I don't really know who to be suspicious of at this point, and it seems pretty certain that the Spiked made a conversion at some point, seeing as 5 spiked with 17 players seems a tad bit unbalanced to me.

 

Also, if the last spiked (or any Kandra) want to duel me, I am in room A2 right now.

Okay. So, I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before, but I'm pretty sure that the eliminators spiked someone who was confirmed. I don't think we'd have had 5 eliminators in this game from the beginning. So, I propose we focus on the scanned.

That brings me to say this - I was scanned N5. So, I'm officially cleared. As much information as that brings, I'd like to also remind you that the only people who knew about this (as far as I know) are Burnt and lopen. If you two spread it further, I was not informed about it.

The third thing on my agenda is locations. I propose everyone make their locations known, just so we can track where everyone is moving. I'm not saying don't move. Just keep everyone posted of your location. I'm currently in C1.

Okay, that's all I wanted to say.

And burnt- very good drawing. Loved it.

Arraenae also knew you had been scanned. Lopen, Arraenae and I had a pm that we discussed the scanning in. We were going to open a new one to include people who had now been scanned but the she died...

I'm now in C2.

though, only thing with revealing locations is that the spiked can find us but eh.

I'm going to come out now and say that I'm the last living scanner (zinc). I think that technically everyone except Araris has been scanned some way or another? However, note that Arraenaes scanning wouldn't pick up any hemalurgic scans if a converted never used their new ability.

I was the one to scan Mark so I know its not him who is the spiked. Im going to trust that Araris is good.

so I personally think that it is either Lopen or SD. More SD though as I heard a rumour that they spiked themselves. I dont know how true that it's though, but that's my only lead.

Lopen, sorry if you wanted to keep the scanned group quiet but at this point, there's no point being secretive I think.

Idk. That would be a question for Arraenae I believe. I'm pretty sure she scanned you. At least I think thats what she said. That true Lopen?

Yes, I believe Rae scanned a player who had burned Feruchemical iron on the first Action of the game, and SD is claiming Feruchemical iron, so that's how he got "cleared." I didn't every tell him though, just in case he wasn't the only one with Feruchemical iron, and because he told me he had a charged spike, so I figured it would be better if less players knew about Rae's power.

 

So as far as I can tell, here's how it shapes up:

 

Lopen - cleared by Rae(she scanned my Allomantic bendalloy)

Burnt - cleared by Rae(she scanned her Feruchemical zinc)

Mark - cleared by Burnt(Burnt scanned him with Feruchemical zinc)

SD - cleared by Rae(she scanned his Feruchemical iron)

Araris - never been cleared

 

I believe the last Spiked is either SD or Araris. I'm not sure I believe Araris claim of him having 2 beads of Lerasium. That seems like it would be extremely unlikely. (Especially since I've had so much difficulty finding anything at all...) Anyways, we could lynch him to check it(because he'd have lynch protection if it's true). If he is the last Spiked, it could be some sort of ploy. I'm not sure to what end it would be for, but it doesn't sound right to me.

 

In SD's case, he told me he spiked himself with the Spike he killed DC with(a gold Spike, so it was charged), but didn't get his alignment changed(well, obviously that's what he told me  ).
