I guess I'll jump on the train. What do people imagine me sounding like?

I don't really imagine a particular voice for you most of the time, but reading some of your stories I hear... well, a spooky storyteller voice (because I'm so original that way).

Do I sound like the voice of unspeakable darkness, the type of voice that which will surely drive the listener insane and could only come from the very mouth of hell itself?

Or do I sound like a slowbro?

You sound like a very stressed out Slowbro. In other words, a Slowbro speaking at a normal rate.

Voidus, you're definitely a slowbro. :P

Morzathoth you dont have a particular sound exactly, but theres sort of an automatic expectation of creepiness.

And Mistrunner and Honour Spren, you both sound like teenage girls to me, pretty similar, Honor Spren maybe a little more high-pitched because that somehow how I imagine Syl to sound....

Honor Spren sounds like Florida.:P

And what does Florida sound like?

... and now I want to start writing all my posts in Middle English. Happens to everyone, I guess.

Forsooth, verily such happenstance does occur!

What the heck, I'll jump on the bandwagon. What do you think I sound like?

Like me. But more Californian.

And what does Florida sound like?

Mice and Gators. :P

It's more like a standard american accent, but the farther north you go, the more southern it sounds.

Also, slightly off topic, but I saw a thing that was the 50 states as high school students and Florida was the kid that does drugs but is still fun to hang out with sometimes.

Let me try . . . Hast thou seen the new subforums? Go forth, take thy keyboard, and post in them.

I actually picture the same voice for Kaymath and TwiLyghtSansSparkles. The young Bard I hear as Shakeapeare. (Old and Bristish)

What do people hear me as?

A teenage boy's voice, but one that goes at a slow pace and dramatically enunciates some words.

Ooh what do I sound like in your heads?

A slow feminine voice. Moderately deep.

What do you guys imagine my voice as?

A very excitable high pitch.

No that would be me 51956uth.gif

You sound kind of standard baritone in my head. Not super dark and manly, but darker than brighter. Sometimes you get a metallic effect on your voice though, for whatever reason.

Twi always sounds bright and cheery in my head, Kaymyth is slightly deeper Twi, I've actually heard Honor so I know what she sounds like. I guess that means Mistrunner sounds the same... I dont really have voices for the rest of you.

I guess I'll jump on the train. What do people imagine me sounding like?

I imagine you as a deep-voiced creepy guy. Except when I first joined and you had the purple-on-black-background profile pic. Then you were a trickster.

Edit:Does Joe hear me as a clucking chicken? What about you other guys and girls?

I assume that Twi can confirm just how Texan your accent is.

Ooh! Ooh! Me, me!

I'm curious if the Arrow-theme I go for influences how people (who aren't Joe*) imagine I sound.

*I had to look up what tenor means. Singing voice...? Sorry to ruin your headcanon, but the only thing my singing voice is is "Off-key".

The voice of the rooster from Disney's Robin Hood.

It's not about singing, it's about how high or how low your natural tone is. Bass is deep, tenor is higher than bass and so on.

Am I the only one who doesn't have that voices thing going on? I just read you all as... well, writing.

@Morzathoth: Well, I :ph34r: you. :P

It is a voice type. Tenor is a higher, brighter male voice, baritone is lower and deeper, bass is reaaaaaaally deep.

At least in general. We dont need to go deeper into it than that.

Ninjad...

I imagine certain characters with certain voices. I cant think of anything specific at the moment, but... uh... I read writing as audible... if that makes sense...

I do too but it depends on the character, some characters have a very clear voice for me, others I mostly just get it as text rather than audible.

Purely personal example: I can imagine Syl's voice as clear as a bell, I very rarely hear Kaladins, I am incapable of hearing Hoids voice at all. :(

It's a Sunday afternoon. Do I...

• Practice instruments?

• Study for upcoming tests?

• Spend time with family?

No. I am eating peanut butter with a spoon.

I regret nothing.

You have nothing to regret, my friend.

So what do people think I sound like?

Voidus has a very deep voice in my head, probably bass. But it is deep in a soft, "gentle giant" way. Or as gentle as a hemalurgist can sound.

'Zathoth has a sterotypical light aristocratic acent in my head for some reason. Other than that, his voice is pretty normal. OK, perhaps a bit more nasal than most, but only slightly. On terms of range, I'd say baritone, but closer to tenor than bass.

Silverblade sounds like a sophisticated teenager, if that possibly makes any sense.

Twi sounds... I can't describe it. Nice. A lot like Kaymyth, but with pony sparkles.

I'm now dipping pretzels into the peanut butter. Wild stuff happens when the parents are away.

I can never hear you in any way other than your pug-calling voice after watching a video of it. :P

Hoid is probably one of the clearest ones too me. He has a very jovial tenor. The kind of voice you expect a jester to have.

... this is scarily accurate...
