Hey, free room and board. and you get to do nothing but sit around all day, waiting for the next dangerous prison experience to happen

Look at it from the bright side. When you get out you'll have even more ideas for me to turn into horror shorts.

I am writing a non-fiction horror story. Lets see if I can pull this off.

I can do it in ten words.

"Thank you for coming on such short notice, President Trump."

You see Twi that was all a bad dream.

I just imagine him going "YOU ARE ALL FIRED" and firing all the nuclear warheads.

At least you would have a president with a catchphrase.

But no, it is about a photograph of a small tragedy that happened the first of may 1947.

Please. Teddy Roosevelt was his own catchphrase. B)

What's the photo?

... that is true...

I already said too much, you will know tomorrow  Maybe. Have to save some surprises you know.

I would but

1. I dont know how to teleport

2. Thats just a romantic comedy waiting to happen

3. Considering I would be present and how weird we are it will most likely turn into a very surreal horror comedy instead.

I mean at least someone will end up transformed into furniture, or eaten by a piano or thinking they are a duck. It is inevitable.

"The inevitability of ducks and pianos- A Morzathoth horror story"

That is a much better theme than the inevitability of fate and if this had been the central point of most Greek tragedies then I might actually enjoy them.

I dont know about you, but the idea of all three are kind of scary to me when you think about them.

Ancient Greeks writing tragedies about man eating pianos is scary for more than one reason.

Yeah, if anything, the man-eating pianos would be some plot by Zeus to trick some poor mortal into killing his dad and marrying his mom. (You are the worst play ever, Oedipus the King…..)

Well, at least you can't say the "happy couple" overreacted to the "big reveal".

I was more thinking that pianos hadnt been invented yet so there is obviously a strange time travel plot in there somewhere.

I cant make any comments on theater as I dont have any interest in it, but I did like Kafka on the Shore which is sort of based on Oedipus.

I had to read Oedipus in high school, and it's all about how the gods decide some poor sap will grow up to kill his dad and marry his mom, so his parents leave him for dead, which, through some rather contrived circumstances, only solidifies his destiny. And the whole thing is handled as if it's Oedipus' fault. Like he just woke up one day and said "Imma kill my dad and marry my mom," instead of doing the whole thing without ever knowing. And you know what? The whole mess would have been avoided if the gods hadn't sent that stupid oracle the stupid prophecy! Really now! Clearly they wanted him to do what he did, because the only reason he was able to do it is because his parents knew and tried to prevent it from happening!

I think that was the point, whats the point of being a god if you wont mess with mortals?
