He showed favoritism, abused students he disliked, and promoted students he did like. But, what does his appointment say about Dumbledore's opinion of Slytherins? "Here you go, the best and brightest of Slytherin House. He's an abusive bunghole, but that's just what I expect from you by now."

I'm picturing her nose singing "Going Out in Style" and it is quite amusing. Why not sing some Flogging Molly? I like to pretend that the Slytherians were the good guys all along. After all, the Harry Potter books are clearly propaganda for the tyrannical cause of the Gryffindors. I'm rather partial to Flanigan's Right Hook, myself, but both Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly are awesome, too.

Popped out to the bookstore today; picked up Words of Radiance. I looked for Warbreaker, but they didn't have it. Boo. Gonna have to order it online, I suppose. I also found an anthology that had both Jim Butcher and Patricia Briggs stories in it, so there's that. And I found this fancy hardback book of Gallifreyan fairy tales.
