Creating a fanclub for him as he's presented in the books would be like doing the same for pre-Iron Man Tony Stark. Not a great plan. The second page was shipping. So much shipping. And not a cookie in sight.

How many of "Us" are there? Because I definitely prefer Steampunk Mistborn, though I do miss the ash falliing from the sky and the general... well, darkness of era 1 sometimes. There was just this atmosphere that era 2 lacks I think. Dystopia, thick mists every night, a sense of apocalyptic dread, ash falling from the sky, colorless plants. I just love that atmosphere. So many of Brandons books could easily go into horror... I have been considering writing Horror stories from the Cosmere lately. They would obviously stray from cannon because they would be stories inside a story.

Now you understand! If there was any Sanderson that would draw me into fanfic, it was Mistborn Era 2. And it did. But man, I have work to do on the final draft before it goes up.
